I have been wanting a pair of palazzo pants for a while now. They always look so comfortable and stylish. But sizing on them is all over the place between different brands. I decided to take a chance on these because their sizing chart is a little more generous than other brands. I normally wear a size 24, and I ordered this in a 5X. Since there is an elastic waistband, the fit is great. I probably could have gone down a size and still had a pretty good fit, but these pants are roomy and comfortable and I'm glad I got the size I did. The fabric is a bit sheer, but it's a loose, flowy material, so they aren't quite see-thru when you wear them. I will make sure to wear black underwear just to be sure. I love the way these look. They drape beautifully so they look light and summery, not frumpy, and they can be dressed up or down. The only slight issue I have with them is the length. I'm 5'4", but these touch the ground all the way around. I will have to be careful in how I walk in them and in choosing what shoes to wear with them, especially because I can't wear heels. I am 5'3" and 300lbs and these are my new favorite pants. They fit true to size and are very soft and comfortable. The elastic paper bag style waist has a tie and the wide legs are flattering and not frumpy. They flow with you and don't make you feel like you are hiding behind layers of fabric.
