Better than pictured! Way beyond what I had expected
For the past decade or so, I have been ordering "white shaggy" area rugs for different living areas and places where I have lived. A few weeks ago, it was time for a cozy "winter upgrade" so I ordered two white furry shaggy rugs. Okay. I didn't love the first one I ordered. I didn't "hate" it. But I sure didn't love it. Caveat... pictures on Amazon can be SO deceiving right? (I won't slam the other seller, but yes, I got it on Amazon.). As you know rugs are hard to roll up, package and return. So I just ordered THIS beauty to replace my first purchase. WOW. JUST WOW! IT'S A SOFT creamy dreamy white. Not blind-you-punch-you-in-the-face white, but soft, dreamy. But not "yellowy either." I unrolled it and just stood there in awe! Its luxe swirls and patterns around my ankles...it more than assuaged my lament over the "other" competitors rug. It's not terribly slippery in bare feet either. It's a joy to walk on in bare feet. (I've had that experience in the past too). Then, I was hit with a sudden ephipany of inspiration... I just layered them both on top of each at cross angles. I was in love with how it looked. Loveeeee laying textures and textiles in general. It needn't be expensive.. just do it correctly! The following week, I entertained guests in my home. One of them on eyeing the floor starry-eyed, exclaimed, "Whaat!?? Are we at a five-star resort!??" (I was beaming on the inside because, honestly, can a hostess who wants to make her guests feel pampered, welcome and cozy ask for more?) If you are wondering, chewing your lower lip trying to decide. Don't hesitate. I hope my review inspires you to go ahead and buy it. You will not be sorry.
