OK, truth is I went into this originally buying these not having a huge expectation just because of the cost. I have a beautiful loveseat that unfortunately has a weird type of batting stuffing for the back pillows and it’s very difficult to remove the covers and wash them when I need to. It’s even more difficult to get the batting back in. I was just getting really frustrated by the removal and replacement process. I decided to do a search to see if I could find some replacement batting for the inside, but had a cover. I kept coming back to these pillows over and over again because I could have them customize the size. It is crucial that you read the instructions that the seller gives to order the pillows 2 inches wider and 2 inches longer than the size of your cover. It was brilliant information! I got these pillows today and I already installed the covers over them and oh my goodness are they glorious! They are 1000 times better than the original manufacturers stuffing that was inside the back cushions. They are soft, they are high-quality. I was not anticipating me to be incredibly happy with these when they came, but they absolutely blew me away! Also, was expecting these pillows to not arrive as quickly as they did because they are custom. However, they arrived in less than a week from the time I ordered. If you are considering buying these and just not sure if you want to spend the money or not. Let me tell you it is worth every penny. It would’ve cost me probably three or four times as much to have somebody try to fix these pillows for me. I will absolutely buy from this company again if I ever need a replacement pillow insert. 100% completely satisfied! Well made pillow with plenty of loft. As per recommendation I ordered 2" larger in both directions. Though it fit my pillow cover, for my tastes it was too plump, the cover size looked better to me. The included (? wasn't expecting it) is poor quality. I saw that first when I unpacked and was concerned, the large pillow (16 x 40) however has a very good cover and fill. Basically, order the size of cover unless you prefer a fuller stuff. Read more

I bought the MoonRest 14 x 38 pillow form to put into a 14 x 36 decorative pillow cover. I read reviews on lots of pillow forms before choosing this one. It is nice quality, made with real cloth, filled with very fluffy stuffing, with an invisible zipper at one end. The general criticism of every pillow form I looked at is that they all tend to be a bit under-stuffed, so they don't quite fully fill out the decorative pillow covers, even when you follow the sizing recommendations from the pillow form manufacturers. I, personally, like my throw pillows to have a little extra "umph," so I ordered an extra 14 x14 MoonRest pillow form, too. Then I just took all the stuffing out of the small form and added it to the large one. Bam! I am very happy with the result. I took off one star for this little maneuver being necessary, but the result is quite pleasing. Read more

So that pillow person got their hands on Moonrest now, and I think this is the last major brand to review that isn't 100% down. (weary sigh) Pillow arrived rolled up, deflated, and stuffed in a plastic sock. How... quaint... Removing the sock was annoying, opening the package produced a floppy effect that vaguely resembled a pillow. Shaking it seemed to inspire some life in it. Introducing it to the pillowcase, however, was the fight of my life as this thing's corners struggled like a struggling thing struggles, also doing the liquid-filled stress toy game a competitor's product does but on steroids. Eventually being stuffed into the cover, it seemed to fill the cover well but still felt like the stress ball. Into the dryer on low for 30 minutes it went. Coming out of the dryer it felt like a l... no, wait... this thing had softened up and was very nice and down-like. It retained a bit of the stress toy feel under maximum squish giving moderate support, but before that it feels like a very nice poly/down alternative mix. So if you don't put this thing under a little heat and tumble, you're not going to get the full effect out of this and you'll probably return it. Going to try another order from these guys next to test reliability with the mainstay 26x26 size. Guess that's a recommend for now! Read more

Great pillow insert for the couch. Our sofa came with several pillows, many filled with down feathers. Nice and soft and squishy until the feathers start poking through the cover and OUCH! So we've been replacing the older feather inserts with this insert and now... no more ouch! Read more
