Great work pants for the heat!

I purchased this pair of pants for my husband who doesn’t hike but works outside in this heat. He likes the comfort and they are not to thick and they are breathable. To anyone who works outside they are great! He loves the pockets that zip so he is not losing anything out of them. Read more

Zipper bad. Fit excellent.

Mixed emotions. Pants came today and fit great. Flexible. But the back pocket zipper literally broke off - snagged on a chair. Not cool. I’ll live without the zipper. I’ll test the durability on a desert hike Saturday. If they fail, I’ll make an edit. Read more

Good hiking pant

Well constructed, great pockets. Ideal for hiking. All the other is elastic at the back, I wish they came in uneven sizes as well. My husband normally wears a 33 or 34 pant depending on the brand and the 32 fit him well. Read more

Great Pants, a Little Noisy

These pants are great if you're looking for a light (but not minimalist) weight pair of pants for active use. They are well-made and solidly stitched. My pair has no loose ends or stitching flaws. The pants have 6 pockets, all nicely sized. The front and seat pockets close with zippers; the thigh pockets close with hook and loop. The seat pocket are sewn on, like a pair of jeans, rather than having a liner that rides up. The zipper and closure button are substantial and will last. The button is backed up with a hook and loop closure. This is a nice additional feature. The pants feature articulated knees for flexibility and a neat button system on the ankle to make rolling the legs up a few inches easy. There is a clip on a belt loop for attaching keys or a tool. There is about six inches of elastic on either side of the waist line, which adds a bit of flexibility when moving around. The pants have an approximately eight inch long, one inch wide vent system near the top, on the hip line. I'm not sure that this small of a vent will accomplish much, but it is well-stitched and strong. These sort of things are often points of failure, but on these pants, I don't think that will be an issue. The material for the pants is about as heavy as a light windbreaker-style jacket. It is definitely water resistant -- water flows right off, with none absorbed (that I could see, anyway.) The material has a lot of stretch, making moving around quite comfortable. The material is so nicely flexible that a crotch gusset is not needed. My only issue with these pants is that they are a bit noisy. The material is such that nearly every step will be heard. Whether or not that is an issue is up to the purchaser, but I thought it should be noted. I wear a size 38 in Carharrt and Dickies pants. I ordered a sizes 38x32 pair, and they fit me very nicely, with enough room to move, but not too baggy. Read more
