You should have received one of these with your Shaker, but if you did not this is the correct OEM accessory part. Sure, you could use a nut driver or a socket/ratchet to remove the Shaker nuts. This tool holds on to the nuts to keep them from being accidentally dropped in to the engine compartment. I keep my original in the glove box, and bought this as a spare to live in the shop toolbox for doing oil changes, etc. Read more
