This garbage can is great! My dog loves to get in garbage cans and eat anything she can find. She cannot get into this can. She is about 18 inches tall and could easily get in the can if it were open, but it's not open! The can opens in the middle to remove the bag. Opening in the middle makes it so you can slide the can around and it stays together. Some cans are solid to the (open at the bottom) bottom and so when you move the can the insides do not always move with the top. This can does not have that problem. The bags work great. I would stick with the same type of bags that ship with the garbage can. This can does such a good job of keeping oder inside the can that when you change the garbage bag you may be surprised by the smells that do not get out of the can! Battery life: (one month short of a full year the batteries finally needed replacement) Some reviews complained about the battery life opening and closing the lid. We bought this on Jan 7th and it is now June 18. We open and close the lid at least 30 times a day and it is still going strong on the original set of batteries. Quality: Top notch! Lid opening: Works without any issues and opens quickly. The timer is about 6 seconds before it closes. Since the battery life is so good there is no worry about opening it too much. This trash can is well designed. I like that it’s rechargeable, so no batteries to replace, and it works with standard plastic liners instead of requiring special bags. The suction feature pulls the liner neatly against the sides, keeping everything tidy. There’s a slot that holds the liner securely. While the photos show the liner tab sticking out, you can easily wrap it around the slot so nothing is visible from the outside. Simple, smart design and easy to use. Highly recommended. Read more

I ordered this product and received it with a small dent in the back. Also, no bags were included. I thought perhaps I read the description wrong, but it does show two rolls of liner bags in the description. I returned the original for exchange due to the dent, and when the new one arrived it did include two rolls of liner bags. I think the first one I got was a return due to the dent, and they returner kept the bags and I was resold as new a returned item. Now I have a new item and the liner bags, so they did make it good and I am happy with the product, but a bit of a hassle with having to replace it. Overall I am happy. Read more

Great product I love how it suctions the bag so it’s completely open from the get-go, however be careful with moving things around on it, it functions too good so the sensor is a little too sensible, even passing by it with my towel set it off, maybe its the area where I have it, but it is what it is.. batteries are required btw!! They don’t come with it. However it comes with a decent sized roll of black bags, which was cool and it looks great in my bathroom, it has a very clean aesthetic. Assembly was very simple, even though the instructions are not in English, it tells you exactly where everything goes it was very easy to put it together and I like that you can add a odor tablet. the product itself It’s very sturdy. I had smaller bags from the previous product that I wanted to use up they do not fit at all, but I made them fit and the product did not budge so I’m very happy with that. Read more

I looked and looked for my bathroom a can that would automatically open. This one was a good price and isn’t small. I didn’t want to have to empty it every day. Narrow but tall. Cones with its own bags. Love it! Read more

Did NOT last a year under normal use. Purchased February 24 of this year and it already stopped functioning properly. Lights still work as if going through the motions but the lid isn’t operational. No longer hear the motor function. I switched out with fresh new batteries but unfortunately this bin is no longer any good. Until I replace this bin, I have to open and close the lid manually with my hand which defeats the purpose. Read more

The trash can looks nice and works well but the bags that are included are terrible. Their size is okay but so far I have not been able to get one off the roll without tearing a hole at the bottom because they are so thin and flimsy. I end up having to tie a knot in the bag which uses up about half the volume.
