This unit does its job overall. It is quite loud, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen a truly quiet AC unit. The set up was easy, but I didn’t find a good way for the window attachment pieces to be held together, so I had to get creative, and there are a lot of gaps. It’s a large machine, but I love that there’s no water to deal with. It does take a good deal of energy to operate it. My lights flicker when it kicks in. I also love that this product offers a dimmer option that turns off the dashboard lights while I sleep. The remote is a little confusing, and I still haven’t figured out how to pair the app. It was relatively cheap compared to other ACs options, and after two days with it, I feel like I have gotten my value for the most part. Great little portable ac unit. It’s not super loud even without the “nighttime “ feature so I have never messed with turning it on. The remote is very handy , but isn’t a mae or break feature. I believe that it’s supposed to have some WiFi features but I haven’t figured them out. Overall I believe this portable ac unit to be well worth the money. Read more
This thing is an absolute game changer, its cooling effect is the only reason I got it. Best feature is it’s small (at least for me) it fit under my 29 inch desk. The vent is adjustable & I like how it’s on wheels. It’s very easy to move around. I wouldn’t settle for the 6,000 BTU unit as it’s the first thing I got. Returned it so fast & spent the extra 50-60 so dollars to get the 7,000 BTU unit. Worth every penny & it cools down my medium sized room very fast. The vent hose is easy to install & had it up and running in 15 minutes. I did read some reviews on the noise level, it is very quiet. I don’t know what people are talking about. It’s nothing like a noisy window unit & this one is actually adjustable & on wheels. Can’t forget to mention a review I read about the power & how it can cause lights to flicker when the AC kicks on. I haven’t had that issue either, but I have to mention on how easy the drain plugs are to reach & how fast I can drain them. I just disconnect the vent hose & roll it outside & jut unplug the cap & dump it ( No it does not require water) . I know everyone does it differently but sure is the easiest method. If you are worried about the clips and disconnecting them. Don’t worry lol, it’s very simple and easy. People probably get impatient & break the clips. It’s actually quite simple. There is little tabs & it just bends up and you apply little to medium pressure and they snap into place. It’s not rocket science. I really wish I could give it less than 1! It's a piece of crap. After not even 2 months it started having an E5 error. Come to find out, it has water that needs to be drained. I went a whole month no drain then instantly doing like 7 drains a day and I only use it for a few hours a day. I had to makeshift a way to tip it back and add a hose so the water can constantly drain. Otherwise it cuts off every 5 minutes at best to be drained again. The worst part is the drain is at the very bottom and it's heavy so I'm picking it up every five minutes so the hose will work. Before then it flooded my carpet. I had to buy a card table so I can tip it without picking it up! The person that made this is cruel and needs the iron maiden! Read more
This portable AC is AMAZING!!!! I live in Arizona and I rent. My AC went out and the company my landlord hired, took a week to fix it. Because if that, I had to get something to keep from over heating until the new ac was fully installed. Unfortunately every portable AC I was reviewing on Amazon were all over $350. I saw this offered next day delivery and had a 5 ⭐️ but only had 25 reviews.. I decided because of the price I would go a head and took a chance on this AC unit. SUPER GLAD I did too. It’s AMAZING. Get the areas cool fast (lowest temp is 61°) and it’s super easy to install and put away. I’m really excited to try this in my 2 room glamping air tent next time I go camping. Read more
