Adorable and easy to get on. They are lightweight, making walking easy for newbies. My only complaint is they run a little big, at least in my babies case. She is 11 1/2 months old and she is in the 30th percentile for height so she is on the small side - the shoes are slightly too big, enough that her feet slip out easily. These were our son's first pair of shoes, and we like them so much that I'm buying the next size up. It took a few tries to get our baby to appreciate these shoes, but after he got used to the idea, he loves them. I was worried that he would kick them off, but they stay on remarkably well.
