Oh, my goodness....I love this lip balm. As one who owns an admittedly embarrassing quantity of lip balms and glosses, this is one I absolutely plan to repurchase. The super glossy shine, non-sticky-yet-thick-enough-to-be-actually-nourishing texture, the color, the delicious scent, and beautiful packaging - it's everything!! The tube, applicator, and formula are very similar to SF lip butter balms, a holy grail item for many. I own several SF balms in various colors (and plenty of other glosses), however, none offer the beautiful tint of this Moroccanoil Vanilla Date balm. I took a photo of this swatched next to the SF Vanilla Beige balm to compare. For my light, cool skin tone, the SF VB pulls a bit too warm/brown/peach-y. The Vanilla Date, however, is more of a milky, cool, pink-nude that is absolutely, beautifully, MLBB. As I've gotten older (43), my lips have lost a fair amount of natural color, and I often apply 2-3 lip products (lip stain, tinted gloss, and/or clear gloss, if needed) to avoid looking like a corpse. This Vanilla Date provides enough color to look like I actually have lips, yet is sheer enough that it doesn't look like lipstick. The scent is delectable (like a rich vanilla/caramel-y scent - I don't immediately get dates from this) without being overly artificial, and it doesn't taste terrible if you get a little on your tongue. It feels hydrating, soothing, and I often reach for it when my lips feel parched. I have several Moroccanoil hair/body products and love this brand, and this item is a perfect addition to their lineup. I cannot rave about this enough - I would give this 15 stars if I could! Smells great, but more sticky that slippery. Read more
Absolutely in love with this lip balm oil. It has a light minty scent, medium thickness and easy to glide onto lips. It leaves behind a nice sheen (great for those days I want to go without lipstick and even better to leave a little shine to the matte lipstick I typically use). From day one of using it, I could tell the difference in moisture on my lips. Living here in the south with the ever changing from hot to cold to rainy to freezing temps, my skin suffers - including my lips. This lip oil is a definite game changer. Overall this is a very good and highly recommended product to have in your everyday arsenal of moisturizing products. It's decently priced, you get a good size tube of lip oil with a nice, light refreshing scent. Read more

I was so excited when I saw this and bought it immediately but I should have believed the reviews regarding scent. I love sweet scents but the scent of the maple is so strong I ended up giving it away. Way too strong! The formula is good, I am hoping they come out with more shades / scents soon. Read more
Super moisturizing, thick lip balm that coats my lips almost like a lip oil. The subtle mint aroma is a nice touch and does not irritate my skin or nose whatsoever. The balm is easy to apply without smearing or feeling too sticky despite its thickness. It does not taste particularly strong or unpleasant, but it is not sweet. The lip balm keeps my lips soft and moisturized overnight, but it does come off slightly when eating food. The Moroccan Mint Tea lip balm applies clear and leaves a slight sheen to the lips, making them look a bit shiny without any additional color. Read more
I was skeptic at first with this lip balm but now Iβm convinced itβs amazing! First, a little goes a long way. This is a narrow tube so when I first used it, I put too much on so the next time I did a small amount and it was great! I felt it lasted a long time, it was refreshing on my lips and the tube is the perfect size to put in my bag, where I wonβt lose it. I got the mint and itβs very refreshing to use! The only downside that I see to this is that it is not fragrance free. Personally I prefer my cosmetics to be fragrance free or parfum free but thatβs a personal choice that I wonβt hold accountable. Love the brand and will continue to support and use these products. Read more
