My son wanted to be Abe for Halloween. I researched many costumes trying to find the best price, quality, and one that would get there in time. I decided on this one. He really looked great but the costume itself is cheap. Thankfully we had another hat because the hat that came with it is laughable. The beard worked great but after putting it on and off for 2-3 nights the velcro stopped working so we will have to replace or sew them together if we want to use this again. The pants were ok. The jacket is see-through and like another review mentions the shirt is just a small piece of fabric that velcros around the neck and waist. The fabric was the same type of fabric you have on the bottom of a mattress box spring. The beard shed and the elastic was too short to fit around his head. I had to spray hairspray on the beard to stop it from shedding, and I added a safety pin to the elastic to make it longer. The actual outfit was too small, and I bought one size bigger than his clothes. The had was a soft foam that was appropriate, but I had to stuff it with plastic bags to make it stand up. We just had to live with the edges being out of whack. It also smelled really bad, and I couldn’t wash it because the terrible fabric would fall apart.
