I got this bag to get around the issues with Frontier and their personal bag requirements. And one of the best ways I thought was finding a bag that's as boxlike as possible to have the most volume to my disposal. The bag is simple in design and holds its shape well because of the hard front cover. At first sight, I felt like the bag was on the small side but it turned out to have just the right amount of space I needed because of its boxy shape. Again, inside is just empty space so there's not much as far as compartmentalizing other than the pockets but that wasn't really an issue for me. Dimension wise if flying with budget carriers is your goal for this bag, Frontier specifically, (18x14x8), it works well. Just note that if you need to stuff the bag, pack to push out the sides of the backpack since that is the main dimension with wiggle room. Try not to stuff depth wise as the bag with a laptop in the back sleeve comes very close to having to be squeezed into the Frontier sizer. The rigidity in shape of the front plate requires it to taper to about if not less than an inch thick in the middle on its own. Read more

If you're looking for a near perfect cheap bag, you've come to the right product. I was skeptical when purchasing this bag thinking it wasn't gonna be able to fit what I needed it too. But it does perfect size for everything you might need to go to a conference, take on a bus trip/plane fight. The outside USB dongle to plug in a portable charger is detachable which was a huge plus for me as I can easily just stick a USB-C cord through it or if I just need the wire cleared from the bag for a minute. Might have been a dunce while looking at it. But the inside pocket attached to the front does go all the way down. which made it so much easier to bring my iPad for drawing or taking notes. Along with the pocket that has my MacBook in it. The inside pocket on the back does go all the way down but isn't completely open with a pocket divider half way down. You can't fit a tablet in there due to the outer casing but with that lack the outer casing keeps it shape so even if you have it opened it doesn't sag downwards. Only downside I have with this bag is when I have a drink or my cupholder phone mount in the side pockets makes it rough to close the bag with it stretching the zipper outwards but that's too be expected with the stiching and elastic bands to make the pockets flexible. Along with the hidden pocket behind your bag to prevent theft makes a perfect place for car keys if you have a push start ignition so if you're bringing your bag you don't need to worry about grabbing your keys. along with the ease to grab them if your just running into Walmart and don't want to look suspicious. The weight of the bag doesn't really change even with 3 of the large Powerades shoved in it. Perfect for any job you might have including being a blue collard worker where you can have refreshments and snacks in your vehicle with you. Manageable hardshell in the sense of it you wanted to really squeeze it in your truck that's already full of luggage, you probably could. But hardshell enough to not crumble on itself or if something like a soccer ball fell on it. Plentiful space. Fits at least a few winter/autumn outfits, or a weeks worth of summer clothes, give or take. Comfortable to wear during long waits at the airport. Will keep your stuff dry while waiting at the bus stop in the rain. And the clamshell design makes it easy to open and search through incase TSA decides to stop you and search your bag because you forgot to empty your waterbottle. I bought this to hold my huge 42oz water bottle it had a nice sleeve on the side! Also it can hold two laptops, and iPad, a switch, Apple AirPods max! Along with some files, however I wish it had a big headphone Velcro strap to hold it in place that would be awesome! But I am definitely pleased with my purchase. Keep in mind it’s a big bag so things move around but it would be nice if they added organization compartments that you can add or remove. Read more
