We love this light. The way it mounts make removal for charging easy. The light tilts up or down allowing the beam of light to adjust. I placed it on the vertical handrail post to to light the landing. This was a gift for my elderly mother to make going out on the porch at night safer. DURABILITY IS GOOD and easy to use Solar: no it is charged and recharge with USBC CORD. I used screws to mount the bracket. I recommend this sensor light. Good for porch, garage, shed, chicken run, workshop, or woodshed to provide light for safety. Ideal for all ages but great for seniors to provide safe walk or work areas in limited light areas. Overall grade: A+ Read more

Got these for a friend who needed lights for steps, as the apartment wasn't fixing the exterior lights. They have been up for about a month and they work great! They only come on after dark in motion sensing mode and my friend just had to charge the light that gets more traffic in front of it. The one directly over their door still hasn't required charging. They even worked great thru the rain and cold. They look good, and putting them up was easy. It was great not requiring any wiring to get them set up. The light easily reaches about 30 feet even set to the warmest color. Read more

These rechargeable lights are the cats meow! I needed a flood light for the front of my condo that didn't need to be hardwired and I feel so fortunate to have found these ones. Getting the holder to adhere to the siding without drilling holes was a challenge - I had to get pretty creative - but figured it out on the 3rd try using double sided tape and creating a backing to the holder with super glue. Anyways, the light itself is amazing! The charge lasts months and the light is bright and adjustable to different warmth. One is perfect to the entry way to myself and my neighbors front doors. Great to have enough light to find your keys or what not once the sun goes down. Read more

I needed a light that I did not need to hardwire, that would get bright when motion was detected as I have a fenced in area for my dog in the backyard. I already have a solar light but that does not get bright enough to illuminate the area that I want. I also did not want to get a solar floodlight as it snows here and will cover the panel. I saw this light pop up in my search and with the size of the battery and the ability to recharge it via USB-C ,it was a no brainer for me. The set up was simple and I really like the mount for it,as it's just 2 screws and the mount itself is a half circle which allows you to just slide the light down into it and aim left or right. The light also pivots up and down so you can pretty much aim wherever you need it to go. When you need to recharge it,it just slides up and out of the mount,no messing with screws or anything. I personally haven't used the remote as you can switch the functions on the bottom of the light itself. I "think" the remote adds a timer function and possibly the ability to lower the light level whereas the light itself lets you select the function of always on,security, motion and 3 levels of light. I have mine set for motion so when my dog is out at night,I can see him easily. It definitely gets bright enough and lights up the backyard. I'm assuming the battery is going to last quite awhile especially as I have it set up for motion only, and as I said earlier,it easily comes off to recharge it. I can also see this being useful if you need to use this at night for a back patio, etc if you have company and don't have a light installed. I'm more than happy with this and it seemed to be the only one that had a built in rechargeable battery. 5 stars for ease of installation, use and brightness. I almost wish I bought the 2 pack. Highly recommended. Read more

The motion sensor is not working at all however I don't really need it so that doesn't affect my use of this. However, if you really need that feature, this may not be your best choice. I like the size and it fits perfectly on my front porch rail. I am using it overnight to light up my front door. I am renting a house and cannot use anything that requires electricity. I live in a northern state where we do not get enough sunlight to power a light all night long. I have used this for several nights on low and it is more than enough light for my front porch and door. The remote works fine to turn it on, but in order to turn it off I have to be very close to the light. Closer than when I use the remote to turn it on. I think its okay for the price, I hope it will last me all winter. Time will tell. If I needed to hang a light in a tent or RV or even car camping this would be a very good choice. It is bright even on the lowest setting. If the remote worked better, I might rate it higher. I'm waiting to see how long it will last. Read more

So far I'm happy with it. When on auto mode, it stops turning on as daylight comes, but it'll turn back on when it gets darker. Brightness is good as is the sensor. Very easy installation, just screw bracket onto surface with 2 screws. Ability to angle the device is also nice. Remote control works and is nice option to have in case. I'd buy another, and probably will. Read more
