Lightweight. Kind of waterproof it. Tears easy after it’s been in the sun for a few months, so just when you pull it off. Be very careful. Not to rip it. Especially if you have a light bar. Read more

When I ordered this truck cover for my 2011 Chevy Silverado Z71 (short bed), I didn't expect much from it. I just needed a cover to protect my truck paint; because the birds kept pooping all over it! So, I read the reviews of other customers who had purchased the "Motor Trend T-800" truck cover from Amazon, and they were positive and negative, 60/40, about this cover. So, well, I went ahead and bought one! This was the best deal I came across for a truck cover because I looked around, and some were pricey. The "Motor Trend T-800" cover isn't like most truck covers you throw over your vehicle; it's the shape of your truck (if that makes any sense). I don't want to sound long-winded, but below I'll give you my Pros and Cons: PROS: * Very durable * Looks great * it is almost the shape of the Chevy Silverado truck * Elastic-type edges, so it tucks underneath the front and rear end bumper (if there are high winds, it won't blow away) * Waterproof * Comes with a truck cover bag (but you'll have to fold it up neatly to put it back in there) CONS: * No slot for the long antenna (I recommend replacing the original antenna with a short one 4" to 6" inch one). That's what I did, and the cover went on beautifully! * No reflectors for safety (this would've been a nice touch) because it's a dark gray truck cover and may not easily be seen when a vehicle approaches, or (unless you have a driveway) it won't matter! However, with the Cons, it wasn't a deal breaker for me because I replaced the antenna and got a better reception than the original one when I listened to the radio. As for the reflectors, they have all kinds on the market that I can use to stick on the truck cover. As I said in the title, "Motor Trend T-800" is worth every penny - I'm delighted, and you will be too if you need a good truck cover and don't want to break the bank! Thank You, Motor Trend. Purchased this to cover my sons truck while he was at Basic and AIT for the Air Force. Purchased for a 2009 Silverado 1500, crew cab. The bed portion was longer than the bed of his truck, due to it being universal, and the extended cab bed is longer. However, this worked out for the better. Initially I had issues with water pooling up in the bed of the truck, and could not keep the fabric taught enough to allow water drainage. I even built a small frame out of 2X4's to try and keep the fabric pitched like a tent to let the water shed off. But it kept pooling up into the bed of the truck. So I just opened the tailgate, and the cover was long enough to drape over the tailgate and still cover the bumper. This also allowed the water to just simply run off and out of the bed of the truck. The fabric is very nice and thick, it is made of the same fabric as our camper cover, so it should last for a long time. Read more

I’m adding pictures of the box it came in because I didn’t have any luck finding measurements of the truck cover before buying. It stated it fit the truck I was purchasing for, but no measurements. Hoping that helps others! I purchased this cover for a 2018 Silverado 1500 (I’m pointing to it on the picture). It fit! We removed the antenna since the truck will be sitting for a few months, and it fit even better. It’s snug from the front and back, but we secured it with the string provided through the bottom. There is no antenna hole just FYI. You can either remove the antenna or poke a hole through the cover. We tried poking a hole through but it make the cover fit funny, so we just removed it. Cover seems durable, it’s not too thick but isn’t thin either. Read more

I purchased the cover to put over my deceased husband's "project" truck; it now belongs to our daughter and she badly wants to keep it just as her father left it. Covers the entire truck with room to spare and seems durable, especially for the very reasonable price. My daughter is happy so I'm happy. Read more
