The perfect mount for an IKEA ALEX desk
I was scouring the internet for a monitor mount for my IKEA Alex desk and this worked perfectly! By mounting from the top, this let me take advantage of some very specific design features in the desk that 99% of monitor arms can't. Setup was easy, although as others mentioned, the pretension the arms comes with is very high. Read more
Good, tension VERY high by default on mine.
Fits my Magnus Pro desk well, much cheaper than Secretlab's offerings, with a pair of 27" displays. Only real gripe is that the tension was basically set to max, so it took a long time to adjust the arms properly. Read more
It's okay. Very wobbly.
I don't think it's possible to get a monitor to level flat. The attachment system is so wobbly because it's actually plastic that once you set a monitor you have to pray for it to stay level because there's nothing else you can do. Read more

Wonderful mount! Works great for my 27" + 21" displays
I wanted to get a monitor mount to free up some space on my desk (after I realized my monitors were taking up like 70% of my desktop space), and this mount has been wonderful. Did I always have this much desk space??? There was a bit of assembly involved, but the directions were clear, so I did not have any trouble putting it together. I would guess the entire process took about 2 hours (from starting assembly to sitting and working again). I have a 27" monitor and a 21" monitor, and after some arm adjustments to get the monitors in the perfect location, I'm pleased to report they have not moved at all. I'm using both of my monitors in landscape mode, but with this mount, you have the option to turn them vertically as well, but I haven't tried that yet. The mount also comes with a cable management system that I appreciated (wire slots/cages along the arms), as having cables hanging down from your monitors looks sloppy (and shouldn't be something you have to deal with after buying an expensive mount).
