I'm more of a "set it and forget it" type of person when it comes to my monitor, so I was looking at these types of arm mounts instead of the fully adjustable ones. I use it on my standing desk clamped to a 1.25" piece of hardwood. I use this to hold up my 27" dell 4k monitor. The pictures of the mount don't look like much but it's burly and high quality in person. Height: What I liked most is the pole is a couple inches taller than the others at 18" high. I'm tall and looking down at a monitor gives me neck pain. I have the arm at the very top of the pole and its sturdy. Setup: Easy to do solo. There is a channel that lets you drop in the VESA mount so you can easily take the monitor on/off in between adjustments. I use my monitor as a USB hub so I have a ton of wires going back and forth and I was able to fit it all into the wire management system. The clamp is beastly and I there was no need to drill a hole into my nice hardwood top. There is a thin layer of padding on the inside of the clamp that sits on the top of the desk. I would've liked the piece that contacts the bottom of the desk to have this padding also. Sturdiness: Initially there was some acceptable shakiness with the monitor but after I tightened down all the bolts again there was much less wobble. There is movement only when I'm adjusting the height of my sit/stand desk and when I really bump into the desk. Adjustability: There is actually some movement you can do with this stand. You can rotate the monitor from side to side. You can also maneuver the arm, even after you've tightened the bolts down. You CANNOT adjust the height or tilt of the monitor once it's locked in. This thing is incredibly sturdy, well made, has every part you need, including allen wrenches and options to mount through a grommet or via clamp. I have to admit to some surprise at how well the item was packaged and the parts perfectly organized by group. The parts needed for each step were in their own sealed section of the plastic bag. I've gotten mounting arms, wire racks (wiretech/metrotech style) and other desk accessories that were less well built and more poorly thought out for twice the price! A few notes, the pole is fairly thick, thicker than most segmented pipes (again wiretech/metrotech) so the arm grip, which slides down from the top won't fit on those poles. The length is such that the monitor will be at eye height/normal monitor height. However, the C-Clamp jaw is huge and strong and I clamped it to a sturdy stand with a couple books in the jaw as well and got it above my other monitors (I'd originally thought to clamp it to a wiretech/metrotech pole I had). My take-way is that this is arm is very sturdy, well built from quality materials, with easy to understand and grammatically correct instructions. (Can't understate how rare good instructions are in such products) Read more

The product does exactly what you should expect it to do based on the description and pictures. Not only that, but it does it very well. The movement on the monitor arm is slick, making it easy to adjust, while still being very stable. Best of all, there is not a single bit of room for wobbling. The mount is extremely stable and the only way it’ll be moving is if my entire desk flips over somehow Read more

Given the multiple cardboard boxes holding all of the different pieces together, you would think that it would have been protected from damage in shipping. Unfortunately for me, some of the pieces have some reasonably large scratches and dings. Not bad enough to deal with the headache of a return, but bad enough to be grumpy. I also am a little grumpy that the Amazon listing says it has a 22 pound weight capacity, but the box and assembly instructions clearly say 19.8 pounds. I can say that many of the components feel more than strong enough, but you do have to be ready to really torque down some of the fasteners so that things hold in place where you want them. It does the job I need it to do, and that is good enough for the $30 price tag. Read more

I paid $31 for this mount and wow! The back of my monitor is now 3" off the wall (from Vesa plate to wall) compared the 10 inches it used to be. I have a Samsung CHG70 monitor and the stand was really bad. It stuck out about 14 inches from the edge of my desk to the middle. The unique style of the stand meant that it took space from behind AND in front of the monitor. So without much patience, I looked up any kind of arm mount I could find. I have a desk with my Xbox, Router, Modem, and PC on top. I needed to find something that would be height adjustable to make room for my cords and console. This does the job extremely well. The CHG is also curved, this mount comes with spacers to account for curvature and proper mounting into the latch. The arm can be straight or rotated up to 90° while staying tight to the wall. Pictures are attached. Read more

Awesome mount. I use it on a curved monitor for my computer and with the way it's designed I am able to flip/spin the monitor 180 degrees so I can use it as I lay in bed. Super easy to install and adjustable. Read more

Bought these back in 2017 and again in 2020 and they work great! The new version of this model has more plastic and will not hold the same monitor that the older ones still hold just fine. The monitor on the new version will not stay vertical, there is no way to create enough friction in the neck where the monitor connects to the arm because they used to have metal/brass washers but now plastic on plastic just won't hold. I will be returning these and looking for another brand, so sad because I would rate the old version 5/5 stars. Read more
