If you take the time to set this up properly, it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Setup isn’t hard, but how long it takes depends on your comfort level. For me, it took about 30 minutes because I wanted to be sure everything was done right. At first, it felt a bit wobbly. I assumed it was a product issue, but it turned out two of the nuts just weren’t fully tightened. Once I fixed that, it worked perfectly. This is a solid product and I’d recommend it, and I’d buy it again without hesitation. Read more

We have had these desktop electric stand-up desk converters for about 5 years and they have worked great! We had an issue with the clamp that holds the monitor assembly arm on the center column this week and had no issues at all when we reached out to the manufacturer about getting a replacement. Within one day customer support assured me that the item was under their lifetime warranty and started a replacement order for the part. It was pretty effortless and simple. They truly deliver a great product and customer service. I would highly recommend Mount-It! Read more

You need to have a low table for this to work. It will raise the work surface by ~1.5 inch. Therefore, if your setup is currently OK, it will mess up the ergonomics. Plus, the screen should be at arm length approximately for optimal vision. In this case, it is about half to two-third distance putting it right in your face. It is overwhelming and forces you to draw back, getting you too far from the keyboard for proper wrist support, or causes a weight imbalance in your neck or back. Since the whole point of something like this should be ergonomics, it is a purchase to avoid. Read more

This riser works great and is well built. I have one with (2) 27" monitors and another one with a single 32" monitor. NOTE: when the unit goes up it will also go back a bit. Keep an eye out for how close the monitors get to the wall as it rises. You might need to adjust the stand forward to avoid the wall becoming damaged from the moitor scraping on it as it rises. Also don't have anything that will impeed the riser as it goes back down. It definitly doesn't like that ;) Read more

Let me start by saying 2 people should put this together. The pieces are heavy, and it is difficult for one person to hold two heavy pieces together while also trying to insert screws. I put this together by myself, and it took me about 2 hours by myself. The instructions weren't super clear, so that took a little more time. I imagine a second person would have knocked this down to 45 minutes or so. Pros -Good price point -Very heavy base Cons -It reeked of stale cigarette smoke immediately after being opened. Even after my 2 hour assembly, the smell lingered. As a non-smoker, it was unmistakable. I hope this fades. -The monitor adjustments are very challenging and, again, are more challenging to do by yourself. -The 3 arms for the monitors are super wide and not collapsable if you have smaller monitors. -Instructions aren't super clear, but you will get there eventually Overall, better than a manual standing desk, but would explore other options if this broke in the future. I’ve been installing electronics and TVs on brackets since 2006. Easy assembly Post leveling which was helpful Motor works great and raises high for tall people Downside but I make it work. Here is the truck to have monitors butt-up together and stay together I typically have to use the strong adhesive of commercial Velcro to keep monitors together for a stable assembly. Tape them together from the backside. If it works it works. I always have to do this with others too. In the end as you can see in the pics looks great - customer was really happy. That’s what counts I even fabricated and installed a flex light on it to raise with the monitors with video front firing lights too for video conference If you are in the market for a motorized sit stand monitor stand - buy this one. It has my endorsement! 5 stars ***** Regards Happy Installer Read more
