Our bodies need more calcium during pregnancy, and when the growing baby is developing, your own body will suffer if you lack calcium because it's going to the baby. I'm currently pregnant (for the 3rd time in 4 years) and with all 3 I have had great success taking this, starting at 20 weeks. Like mentioned on other reviews, the taste isn't bad. I take 2 droppers full (1/4 tsp) in a little water every night before going to bed. Then again when I wake up during the night. It helps with achy bones & muscles SO MUCH during pregnancy!!! It's also good to take a magnesium supplement along with it, as it absorbs the calcium, and the 2 work great with eachother! I take the Terry Naturally brand of magnesium called BioActive Magnesium Complex (available here on Amazon). Only 1 pill per evening followed by your herbal calcium dose. I am breastfeeding a nine month old and this product has helped me keep my supply up the last four months since my period returned. If my supply seems low I take it and notice a difference in a couple hours. You can combine it with Maxi-Milk and get even better results.
