We have plenty of single camping chairs, but I picked this up to share with my wife when I saw it. It’s perfect for cold nights around the campfire or firepit, making it easy to snuggle up together. The double chair is also great for sharing a blanket and staying warm. It feels sturdy, with thick metal construction, so I’m confident it will last a long time. Setup is easy—it opens just like a standard bag chair. The only downside is that it’s a bit heavier than regular chairs, so keep that in mind if you need to carry it a long distance. Read more
I've spent years as a parent on the sidelines of the kids' sporting events. My biggest regret is not having this chair for some of the earlier games. My concern ordering this was "will it be stable?" (I have sat in foldable loveseats that you needed to be cautious). This one sets well on the ground and feels every bit as stable as a single chair. What I like: * Comes with a bag to tote it around. Not uncommon, but always nice to get. * Comes with surprise storage in the back. If you just look at their pictures, you may miss it, but there is a mesh storage area behind each seat. * Standard cup holders that should handle most normal beverages. Sorry, no 1-liter German steins. * Relatively light weight for what it is. About 14 lbs., it's not a ton heavier than a single chair. * Fits two average adults comfortably. You won't be squished together. * Sets up and tears down easily. Just pull or squeeze. * No noticeable issues with any of the seams. I also like the large rubber grommets where the tension in the fabric is. That should help it last. What could use improvement: * Can't really think of anything. My mid-teens son saw it and immediately laid on it like a bed. He actually did that as he read his books for school. While, no, it would not make a good place to sleep at night, it is kind of cool that you can use it that way somewhat comfortably (at least in the opinion of a High Schooler). I'm very happy about this addition to our outdoor seating collection. Read more
Great twist to a folding chair and perfect for couples. It's pretty compact when folded and it unfolds easily. It's comfortable and easy to clean, seems very sturdy and well put together, and comes with back pockets and cup holders (although the cup holders run on the smaller side, likely limited by the width of the armrests). It's not very heavy and seems pretty easy to carry around, although we mostly just have it sitting in our balcony as extra patio furniture. Not sure about the value, since Amazon offers of variety of double foldable chairs in a variety of price ranges, some cheaper, some more expensive, but they also offer more padding or side tables. They also have a different structure, where the middle support doesn't poke through and interfere with center sitting. As far as this item goes, it's pretty basic compared to others. Read more
Just got this in today and we put the whole family on it for a quick trial. We were not all that far from to the 500 lb limit and it handled it with ease. GREAT: 1. This thing is big but pretty light. No problem to carry to a sideline. 2. The fabric on the chair, and possibly more importantly the bag, is nice and thick. When the bags rip it's the beginning of the end for these things. 3. The frame is a sturdy metal. 4. The 6 points of contact with the ground are BIG. Don't put it down in a swamp, but most anything else should be fine. GOOD: 1. The bag is nice overall but there is a little difficulty stuffing the chair back in. 2. I hadn't noticed whether it included a shoulder strap in the listing but it does! It's 1.5" webbing straps that are more than adequate. Just "GOOD" because a little shoulder pad would have been a nice touch. The sewing seems solid on the attachment. COULD BE BETTER: 1. The cupholders are functional but a little on the narrow side. They definitely won't fit "Tumbler" style coffee mugs and I think some other may be a challenge. But they seem well made for what they are. 2. It will be interesting to see how one of the connections hold up. There is lots of sturdy metal but there are also plastic parts mixed in. 3. At ~$99 the value is fair. It definitely feels sturdy and premium but it's not cheap Read more
My partner and I love spending time outdoors, but lugging two separate camp chairs everywhere was always a hassle. I found this loveseat camp chair, and it has been an absolute game-changer for our camping trips and picnics. First off, it's incredibly comfortable and spacious. There's plenty of room for both of us to sit without feeling cramped, and the steel frame feels really sturdy and supportive. We've used it several times, and it feels just as solid as the day we got it. The 500 lb weight capacity gives us total peace of mind. The built-in features are so convenient. Having two cup holders means we both have a secure spot for our drinks, and the side pocket is perfect for stashing our phones, keys, or a book. It’s these little details that make a big difference. What I love most is how portable it is. It folds down in seconds and slips right into the included carry bag. It's lightweight enough to carry over my shoulder without any trouble, and it doesn't take up much space in the car. The polyester fabric feels durable and has held up well to the elements so far. For anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and portable seating solution for two, I can't recommend this loveseat chair enough. It's become an essential part of our outdoor gear. Read more
