Took about 20 minutes start to finish and I think the TV would stay on the wall through the apocalypse. It seems plenty heavy for the job, you have plenty of hardware for various needs and configurations. Even a tiny level. it is very easy to install and use. It doesn't take up a lot of space. The tilt is fine for easy viewing and easily adjustable. Great value for the money and adequate for large as well as medium TVs. Seems more than adequate and inspires confidence, even if you want to substantially upgrade your TV size later... Read more

The product arrived within one day, which was a nice surprise. My husband and I installed the mount together in about 30 minutes, and the instructions were clear and simple to follow. We mounted a 75” Sony TV, and the bracket feels very sturdy and secure. I appreciate that the packaging included all the screws, spacers, and even a small level tool, which made the installation easier. For the price, it’s an excellent value. If you’re looking for a solid TV mount that doesn’t break the bank — this is a great option. Read more

I wanted a simple, easy to use fixed mount for a 43" Samsung monitor and this was perfect. So easy to mount with a helpful template and had good instructions with useful tips. Taking the monitor down to change cabling is so simple, too with the release mechanism. Read more

I like to write negative reviews because I am a geezer crumudgeon. Unfortunately there's not much bad about this product to write about, sigh. So, against my foul nature this here is a positive review. This is our fourth purchase of this product (let's don't get inito how many tv's there are around this place) and I likes it fine. It is easy to install, comes with all the parts you will ever need and even comes with a little cheapy level. Goes up in about 15 minutes and thanks to its clip attachment mechanisim comes off without a struglle. Once up, you can slide the tv left and right a bit to get the perfect fit. One thing it doesn't do very well is tilt up or down. You can correct this a little by using shims and extra washers. If you need a mount that tilts down, this here one ain't for you. In summary, this here mount is geezer approved. Read more

I purchased this product because I needed to mount a 65" flatscreen TV on my wall. I was a little skeptical at first because it looks like the MFR saves packaging by making the buyer screw together the last part of the plate. There are 3 pieces, and you must screw the last piece on to the other two; this mount does not come as one solid plate (like the $80 versions of this product). The plate went together well though; and in my opinion (after stress testing it on my wall a bit), it seems just as sturdy as the higher priced plates for large TV's. I took my time to make sure I didn't strip screws, and that they locked together well. The materials are sturdy and fit together better than I expected. Often you need to be very careful when sacrificing quality for price (especially when buying on Amazon), so I was a little nervous about saving $50 on a wall mount like this; but it turned out to be a good deal. I am pleasantly surprised, and I will buy this exact mount again the next time I need to mount a larger flatscreen for less than $80. Read more

For less than fifty bucks, this wall mount holds a 108-pound, 85-inch TV securely. The front of the TV is only 4" out from the wall. Mounting instructions were decent, although there's nothing like having done one previous TV wall installation before to screw up your courage (and then get it right). Note this model of the Mounting Dream Fixed TV Wall Mount does not tilt, swivel or extend. That is a GOOD thing in my case because I wanted the TV close, closer, closest to the wall. The mounting unit and brackets add only 1.1" (28mm) to the TV depth. The plate that mounts to the wall comes in three pieces and you bolt/screw them together; that's a minor hassle but keeps the box size smaller and saves a dollar in packaging/shipping costs. You didn't ask. so here are some mounting tips: • Read the friggin' directions for the wall mount *and* for the TV. My TV maker has specifics about how far into the TV the 4 VESA bolts should extend in, on account of otherwise you might screw into a circuit board • You gotta bolt into a stud. Wallboard might hold a 20-pound TV but not for a beast this size. Get a good stud finder. I have owned a half-dozen, my current favorite is the Ryobi ESF5002, about thirty bucks, and why it's good is: You slide it left-right until all 5 LEDs are illuminated, that means you're dead center on the stud, you push a button that makes a dimple on the wallboard (so small the spouse/partner will not notice), and that's where you drill the mounting hole. • There's a small level in the kit; I would use a longer level if you've got one. * With a flush-mount kit, if the wall outlet is behind the TV (very nice, fewer wires show, see photo), attach the power cord etcetera beforehand. It is so snug you may need a flat-mount power cord (flat at the wall end), a couple bucks on AMZ or an electronics store. Or if you're having a power outlet installed, specify a recessed outlet. • The TV sits so close to the wall, you should attach your USB cables or speaker cables now. Otherwise, you may need to gently use a long pair of pliers. • With TVs, even a 65" TV can weigh over 50 pounds, so it's a 2 or 3 person job to attach the TV (with the mounting arms attached) to the wall bracket. The third person holds the TV steady while the two husky guys do the lifting, the person 3 keeps the cables out of the way and/or attaches the power plug to the outlet if it's too short to fit. Note that some brands are 10-20 pounds heavier than others. • When people walk into the TV room, they come through an archway that points right at the wide of the TV, so we used gaffer tape (like duct tape only black, comes off) to secure cords we know would sooner or later try to jut out • This mount is great value, although when you're in for two grand for the teevee, price is less an object.
