For the price, this is the sturdiest mount I've ever used. I have bought several different wall mounts that were rated at 20lbs. This is rated at 44 lbs. All joints, etc. are metal, not plastic (except for the plastic inserts on the pivot points). The vertical swivel for the monitor angle is the best I've seen. You can actually tighten it down to eliminate the typical sag and droop you get from other mounts - even when you tighten them down as tight as you can. If you don't rotate your monitor from landscape to portrait, you can also lock in the angle so that it is perfectly level, and it stays that way. I'd highly recommend this mount for the price with the features it provides. Installation is easy and functions exactly as described. Read more
This monitor mount is great. The install was pretty easy. The only reason I give it a 4.5 is because it did not come with a wrench for the bolts. That would've helped a lot but it's no the end of the world. It is pretty sturdy and made of good material. I'm not worried at all about it falling all of a sudden. I probably went overkill cause my monitor is super light so it puts no strain on the arm. It has a wide range of motion and looks nice on my wall. I can tell it will last a while and was definitely worth the price. It has a whole bunch of instructions as well for what to be careful of Read more
I genuinely like this monitor mount. My only complaint is the tilt feature has two Allen bolts that you can tighten to lock in the tilt. I have these two as tight as I can get them with the provided Allen wrenches and my monitor will tilt down on its own if I move the moniter at all. Like if I want to pull it closer to me, the monitor wants to drop down. It's really kind of annoying. Other than that, it's great. It's priced well compared to similar mounts anywhere else so I'll deal with it and smile. Read more

The mount attaches to a wooden stud in the wall. You must first find the stud that is in the right place. Then you must consider where you want to monitor to rest, decide how far up it needs to be, then where the bottom of the mount should be relative to your desk or bench top. Probe sheetrock to find the sides of the proper stud with an awl or a 1/16-in drill. The bottom hole in the mount goes in the middle of the stud. Mark the location of this hole to put the mount in the right vertical location. Carefully make a shallow pilot hole (maybe 1/8-in diameter and deep) in the sheet rock (twist a drill with your fingers), then drill the bolt pilot hole straight into the sheetrock and stud. Bolt the mount to the wall almost tight. Hold the mount vertical (use a small level for this) then carefully mark the two upper holes. Rotate the mount out of the way, make two shallow holes in the sheetrock, then drill two pilot holes. Rotate the mount up, install other two lag bolts. After that, installation is easy: thread power and HDMI cables through the mount's arms and connect them, apply power, position monitor where you want it. Be prepared to tighten or loosen the joints in the mount so that it holds the monitor but is moveable. Read more

I am not sure I fully understand the purpose of these dual as monitor mounts they all have the same issue. If you want two monitors side by side without a gap and its being wall mounted expect it to stick way out from your wall. I was wall mounting 2x 32 inch monitors and my desk it only 28 inches wide so if my monitors were touching with no gap in the middle it would be 10 inches out from the wall and with 32 inch monitors that doesn't work. That gap is amplified the smaller monitors you go. I almost needed 27 inch dual monitor mounts so they had shorter arms. That said the mount is well built and if this works for your needs I highly recommend. To the manufacture I think you neeed a way to shorten the arms. Adjustable would be great. Read more
Throw the included mounting hardware away. At least the sheetrock mounts. They are garbage. They will pull right out. If you plan to use sheetrock mounts go to the hardware store and get better mounts. The seller of the mount says it will support up to 17lbs but really anything near that (15lbs) and you can see the mount flexing a lot. I was able to mount an iMac to the wall with this mount and adjust the lift support to make it easy to move up and down. It works. Read more
