I worry about my washer. It’s a front load and sometimes somehow, things get stuck, then they twist or rub until a hole is made. I can’t afford to allow that to happen with my shoes or my kids’ shoes. They’re just too expensive. Well, in comes another item that I didn’t know I needed until I found it on Amazon! Now I’m happy that I can just pretreat my shoes and rub it in a little bit, then zip it up and throw it in the washer. No more scrubbing and scrubbing until my shoulder hurts. It’s a smart design to have the little “fingers” inside to gently scrub it while the machine oscillates. I’m able to fit my big size 12-13 shoes in there. For my son’s size 1-3, I might be able to sneak in an extra set depending on how bulky they are. The bags are surprisingly durable. I was a little worried before I got them that they might not last, but I was wrong. It’s really nice that they come in a two pack, but I might consider getting a second set to get more done at once. Oh, and coming with a drying rack was a really nice move on their part. Shoes are too expensive. If you’re using $100 Hoka, or anything like that, this is a sound investment to keep the clean and looking nice, and protect them from your washing machine! Read more

I was really impressed with this Shoe Washing Machine Bag set. The bags are sturdy and well-made, and they protected my sneakers perfectly during the wash. Yes they work. I have a pair of pure white On Cloud sneakers that were absolutely filthy by the end of the summer. Here's what I did.....put a little detergent in each bag along with some powdered bleach alternative I've been using for years. Placed each sneaker in one of the bags, along with the little plastic scrubbers they included. Then, I threw in a few white bath towels to provide some cushion when washing, along with more detergent and more of the powdered bleach alternative. The sneakers came out sparkling! They looked brand new!!! The only other thing I would recommend doing is removing the shoelaces from the shoes and throwing them in with the shoe in the bag. I left them on the shoes, and there was just a little bit of dirt remaining on the laces around the grommets, which I'm sure will come out next time. By the way, I did not put my sneakers in the dryer. Instead, I left them outside on a warm, sunny day. Read more
