You have to have a grout remover to be able to install these. Who has one of those? Who would want to ruin their bathroom for shelves? The shelves themselves seem durable and would be easy to clean, but without the grout remover I can’t say whether they would be stable in the wall or not. They’re large in size so they would have been nice, but without a grout remover, I have no way to use them. Read more

This item is a true gem for the avid DIYer. I should have read the description more closely, but was so excited to find the perfect shelves for my shower. I wrongly assumed it to assemble with the common suction cups, but you have to drill into the grout in your shower to install, then replace the grout. That being said, if you are willing to install per the instructions, it could be a great find as they are beautiful, sturdy and heavy duty shelves. The material does not feel cheap or flimsy. The size of the shelves will fit large bottles of shampoo, and other common shower items with the hooks and slots. 3 stars due to the tedious installation process and it not being renter-friendly. These are not mounted with adhesive. They require you to remove grout and use caulking to secure them. So you will need special tools to install them. I didn’t feel the product information did a good job and making that clear prior to purchasing. These are difficult to install. They are sturdy and feel like good quality. They would look great installed but this is a rental so I don’t want to do anything that would permanently change the structure. Therefore they won’t be installed. Read more
