My husband love doing pen tricks, so I bought him this one and he loves it! I’ve purchased other spinning pens but they were either not weighted correctly or low quality plastic, but this pen’s weight distribution is on point, and the product is made out of quality material. Read more

There are cheaper options but as an amateur spinner I find this easier. You can insert a pen cartridge from some other pens keeping it functional and not just a fidget toy. Read more

If you already know the world of pen spinning - maybe it's great. Maybe this is a subculture I'm just not hip to and people buying this know what theyre doing. I like to fidget and I like fun toys like this, Rubicks Cube, puzzles... I thought playing with this might be fun. That said there are ZERO directons, and when I searched for a website and videos (which I did before buying) I couldn't find a thing. I searched in advance b/c I coulkd'nt tell if this was a Mod - something to add to a thing I was already supposed to have – or it's own thing that works totally solo. Ultimately I assumed the later b/c of the price, but I still don't know. While this comes with a few weighted pieces, the main cantral part is plastic and overall it's fairly light. Figureing out what attached to what wasn't obvious to me - not with keeping the pen part visble anyway. Ultimately, I couldn't figure out how to attach or do a single darn thing. I took a leap of faith here... and went splat. Read more

If you give this as a gift, be very sure the receiver knows what it's for; there are no instructions included whatsoever, and the extra parts are mystifying. That being said, the device has a really nice balance to it for spinning. I have not figured out how this could possibly be a pen and write anything, since there are no instructions, but it does include two ink reservoirs for that purpose. Read more

I got this to toy around with during meetings and enjoyed it. It held up to flying/falling out of my hands pretty well, and fits together tightly. The balance seems good, but I don't have enough experience with this hobby to speak with a lot of authority there. What I will say is that it is a good tool for a beginner. Read more

ADSPINZOR Weighted Mortal Spinning Pen Mod by Mr. Nope – Advanced Trick Spin Pen for Precision, Pen Spinning Tricks & Practice – Heavier, Balanced, Anti-Slip Grip, Writable with Brass Weights (Gold) I recently picked up the ADSPINZOR Weighted Mortal Spinning Pen, and I’m seriously impressed! As someone who’s been practicing pen spinning for a while, I can definitely feel the difference this pen makes. It’s heavier than regular pens, which gives it a great balance for executing precision tricks. The anti-slip grip is a real bonus, allowing me to spin without worrying about the pen slipping out of my hand. The brass weights inside help with the control and momentum, which makes practicing more fun and effective. It’s also writable, so I can add my own personal touch if I want to. The gold color is sleek and stylish, making it stand out from other spinning pens. Overall, if you’re into pen spinning or want to start, this is a fantastic choice. It’s durable, well-made, and perfect for advancing your tricks. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to step up their pen spinning game! Read more

So long ago in college, I picked up a couple ways to flip a pen. This is something kids do instead of studying for exams. I know of two ways to flip, one is to hold the pen like you're going to write, and rotate it around the thumb so that it returns to it's original position. I got decent at this method. The second way is to hold it delicately between thumb and index finger pointed down, and then use your middle finger to hit it so it tosses up, flips around it's own axis and then drop back into the same place in your hand. So I'm not an expert but I have some experience with pen flipping, and I should be embarrassed to say, but, it's a habit/skill that I still practice a bit to this day. And this item came up on my vine feed and I thought 'why not?'. For one, there are no instructions. Nothing on any starter tricks you might try, nothing on what to do with the various attachments that are included. Secondly, it's much larger than a standard pen. It's something smaller than what a magic wand might look like. So it won't be much help to translate any skills learned over to an actual writing pen. Next- attachments. There are two extenders, ostensibly to extend the length, and two ink inserts. Just like the inside of a regular ink pen, the thin piece that holds the ink and sits in the middle of the pen. The part that actually writes. It looks like those can be inserted into the ends of the wand. But it would be super awkward to actually write with. I did look online a little bit, there are some videos showing some different tricks that can be done. The videos were for different companies making different pens, but it was enough to get some ideas. Beyond that, it's made reasonably well. It won't win any manufacturing or engineering awards, but it's not 'junk'. So, if you want a wand to play with and don't need to translate the skills over to an actual writing pen, and you're ok carrying a toy/gadget around with you, and you're willing to look online for ways to play with the pen.... then sure, this device would work just fine. But if you want something that will translate to a real pen, a pen you would normally have on you all the time, then this won't help you much. Read more
