I purchased the Meyers Geranium scented liquid soap few months ago and that worked fine. However, the Basil smells much nicer and cleans just as well as Geranium. The thing about Meyers is that it makes the sponges last longer than other brand dish soap purchased at grocery stores. If you microwave the sponge (1-2 minutes) , then you should be able to use the sponge much longer. Read more

It smells like heaven, cuts grease, and leaves the dishes squeaky clean! It doesn't pull the natural moisture from my hands like many of the grocery store brands.
