This product, innocent as it may seem, is THE ULTIMATE DESTROYER OF SPONGE FUNK! Being a villain myself, and prone to killing things, I have searched far and wide for ways to quench my thirst for death. I've learned that the smaller something is, the more of them you can kill at once, given a proper tool. But, I don't like killing indiscriminately -- it must be something that inconveniences me, or else *I* may be inconvenienced in the process of killing it. There are a number of inconvenient lifeforms that take up residence inside sponges, producing an awful smell that seems to linger on everything the sponge touches. THIS WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION ANNIHILATES SAID LIFEFORMS IN DROVES! ..if it leaves any behind, they are so insignificant in number as to be completely undetectable by any modern means. ..it also works well as dishsoap, and is available in quite a few different pleasant scents. WARNING: The Lavender Scent mixes badly with dishes that have been.. ..ehhem. ..left to soak. Use lemon, or basil, or one of the other scents. Read more

I've been using the Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Liquid Dish Soap for about two years now. I had long used the Mrs. Meyer's Hand Soap, and when I decided to switch to more natural cleaning products, I selected several Mrs. Meyers products. I love the liquid dish soap. It cleans better than the dish soaps sold at the grocery store (Dawn and Palmolive, I'm looking at you), and it doesn't leave the sponge smelling funky (*couch* Dawn *cough*). Since switching to the Clean Day Liquid Dish Soap I've ended up using dish soap for more things like cleaning the stovetop or the inside of the microwave (it cuts grease like crazy but it's still easy to clean off of things). I love that I can get it in packs of three because I don't have to worry about ordering it very often. Read more

An added bonus to this one...my 8 year old Grand Girl we are raising, ended up with BAD dandruff (like her Mother) and the Holy Spirit told me to try this. I listened and her scalp is clean, pink, beautiful and her beautiful golden hair is bright and shiney, and smells wonderful! That was about 2 weeks ago, and her waist length hair is healthier than I've ever seen it! What a bonus to a fantastic product. Love all the scents...lemon verbena and Rhubarb for the kitchen. "Cleans like the dickens" and smells wonderful! Read more

I really like the whole line of the Mrs. Meyer's products. I've used the dish soap for a few years now and will continue to do so. I like the natural ingredients, no chemicals; the smell is pleasant (I prefer the lavender); the soap is gentle to my sensitive hands; the soap cleans quite well and handles oily substances well (olive oil, butter); (I don't cook greasy foods so I can't speak to that); the soap is concentrated so I don't need too much; one bottle lasts quite a while. I full-time RV and I like that this soap is gentle and yet effective on the plumbing. Hope all this helps. Read more

I enjoy Mrs. Meyer’s lavender dish soap. It is like an escape when doing the daily dish chores. It suds really well and does cut grease on dishes. It isn’t as good to on spot treating stains on clothing as some of the other commercial brands but that’s ok with me. Just good to know. It is very easy on my hands.... no chapping or drying; especially in the cooler seasons of the year when I am prone to that. Read more
