The scent is awesome. It lathers well and lasts throughout the entire dish washing. I normally use dawn ultra dish soap. which is supposed to be their original, but when I wash my pots and pans and utensils, I could smell it still on there even though I use hot water and rinse well. The first time I use this I did not have that issue at all and it’s very gentle for my hands and it’s nice to know it’s all natural so you’re not leaving anything bad behind for yourself or your pets when you wash their bowls. All Mrs. Meyer's products are top notch and do the job expected - I've hard water and the product works great cleaning without leaving that gritty feel that many soaps leave when they do not cut through the hard water - this is a fun scent for the holiday/winter season that adds to my kitchen the memory of when baking cookies with young children was part of the holidays. About 15+ years ago, dawn started causing burns on my hands. Once I finally figured out the culprit, I was on the search for a dish soap that I could use. Mrs. Meyer's has never caused me any skin problems. It also works well, and does not take too much to get dishes clean. These bottles are a convenient size, though I do prefer to buy the more economical refills when they have the scents I like. My favorite scents have been lavender, Gingerbread and Apple spice. - they all smell great! Bottles have arrived sealed well, and the refills are usually a great value. If you like several different scents, you may want to look through them as the prices change based on time of year and whatever other factors. The Tomato Vine scent is absolutely awesome it really smells like tomato Vines and fresh clean dirt this is my favorite Mrs Meyers scent. Google voice to text is woefully un intelligent, as it does not know how to spell the word scent, and I had to go back and insert the letter C in all the words.
