For under $100, this is a great mechanical keyboard. The keys are soft-press, but feel reliable. The caps wiggle a little, but expected with a mechanical keyboard. Been using for two months now, no issues. Using Mystic Light software, the ARGB setup works fine with various profiles. However, OpenRGB and Signal RGB do not support it, so all configuration has to come from MSI software or can be changed on the keyboard as well (not a deal-killer, but may apply to some). Read more
This keyboard is a great weight. No slipping all over the desk, it's tactical keys feel great and have a nice sound. The ability to set up seperate colors for every key is sweet. The clearness of the keys makes it nice and bright. Many lighting settings. Functions awesome! Read more

What can I say about this keyboard. Pros: The keys are very responsive. I enjoy the color customizations, as well as able to control my music on the fly in the middle of a gaming session. The keys feel good, not too stiff, not too lose. Cons: The keys are too sensitive. There is almost no dead zone in the keys. It makes typing/programing difficult. Most times when I'm even trying to position my hands correctly, I have false keypresses. I had "upgraded" from a GK50 to this GK71, but find that I had a better response and better feel from the GK50. Great keyboard, just too sensitive for my tastes. Read more
I have an MSI setup, but I was in search of a silent mechanical keyboard. I am delighted with my decision. It has a surprisingly nice appearance, RGB lighting, and it is genuinely quiet (featuring red linear switches). The overall look is very premium. The price and features are top-notch. The reason I selected this model is because it includes a wrist rest pad along with the keyboard. The pad is also very comfortable and can be used independently from the keyboard. The only downside for me is that the keyboard cable is a bit short for my setup. However, I don't consider it a major issue since my case is positioned far from the table. Read more
