There are a lot of these holders on the market these days - this one is a pretty good version. I've been using it for a week and it holds very tightly. The magnet is strong and I like that I don't have to clip anything to put it on or take it off - I just put my iphone to it and it sticks. The suction is very strong too, at least brand new... I am reviewing in the fall, so we'll have to see if it holds up to 100+ degree weather here in the southern US states. So far, for winter weather and while it is brand new, the suction seems very strong. I would recommend this holder for both navigation and also taking car tik-tok videos. It has a good angle and distance for the videos. My picture is from the front facing camera of the iphone 15. This is very convenient to finally have a place to put the phone that doesn't take a lot of fiddling around with. I use to have one of the squeeze holders and it always was a hassle to get the phone in place and get it off... When you take it on and off, the position would move a little and you'd have to readjust the whole thing. This one, because it is all magnets ends up having a lot less movement than other holders so it does a better job in remember the angle you originally set it. Read more

This is a great phone mount with a one exception. This does not do well in the heat. I was using the reusable sticky pad and I followed all the directions with locating the right spot on the dash, cleaning it thoroughly, and mounting it. It was really hot a few times and when I got in the car and attached my phone, the mount immediately fell off the dash. I had to clean the area again and then really press down on the mount and the dash. The magnet is great and when it’s not hot, it holds perfectly so I would still recommend.
