There are the best effective cough drops I have found because they are sugar free so preserve my teeth, and have real cough medicine Dextromethorphan HBr. They are mixed berry flavored and taste a little medicated so I also got sugar free Ludens Cherry cough drops (they're only pectin). Musinex for real cough relief claims 4hrs I'm not seeing that, and Ludens something delicious to sooth the throat. Most soft syrups have the same incredient Dextromethorphan HBr that's an alternative cough syrup and menthol or pectin cough drops.
