I purchased the Muddy Mat® 2-Piece Brown Medium set hoping it would help keep muddy paw prints and dirty shoes from tracking mess through the house—and it absolutely delivered! These mats are soft yet super absorbent, and they really trap dirt, moisture, and debris right at the door - especially the Texas dirt. We have pets and kids constantly running in and out, and this is the first mat I’ve used that actually stays in place and does its job. The rubber backing prevents sliding, and the material is easy to vacuum or shake out between washes. The brown color hides dirt well and looks great with our flooring. These are very good (B+) mats. I use and buy A LOT of mats - I train dogs and mats serve many purposes. They are relatively thick and comfortable as resting spots. Mats (in general) seem to be made of poorer quality the past few years. This brand is still made well. While they washed great, they do hold quite a bit of water - perhaps what they are designed to do as "muddy mats" - but that also translates to coming out of the washer still heavy with water. I hang dry and they take a bit longer to dry than some mats. The backing seems to have held up well to a few washes so far. Read more
