This review is for the MUEE Dog Proof Trash Can, 3 Gallon Slim. It is just the right size to place in the bathroom by the toilet, under a desk, or anywhere you want. The product comes in 2 parts: the bin itself and a white plastic cover to fit on it with a lid. It includes a set of plastic bags and an extra plastic latch attached with tape to the inside of the lid. The latch is small and looks fragile (maybe that's why they included a spare one right away) but it works just fine to close the lid. The bin itself is pretty light. I have a German Shepherd and I KNOW he will be able to flip the bin around and find a way in if he wanted to, so I don't think it is pet-proof for larger pets. Also, while using it for a few days on the bathroom, it would slide a little every time I press the button to open the lid, reminding me about how lightweight it is. I will end up putting some suction cups on the base so it would stick to the tile floor. I really would've liked it to have a heavier rubber base so it wouldn't move. The plastic bags that came with the product are good for its size. The folds of the bags around the edges of the bin are concealed by the white plastic cover. Once these plastic bags are all used, you can use any other plastic bag from your preferred grocery store - they are about the same size. Easy to clean and nice appearance, this bin is useful for anyone who doesn't want an open top trash bin and who don't want to pay premium for an aluminum can with "AI technology". Read more

The lid opens if you so much as tip it over, so it’s incredibly easy for any dog to get in it. Video included if you don’t believe me. Horrible function, immediate return. The media could not be loaded. I was looking at this trash can and it seemed like it would take care of a problem I have. I have a smart little maltipoo dog that has figured out to step on my old trash can in the bathroom and gains access to its contents therefore I have to keep it up in the back of the toilet because of this. This trash can solves that problem and it can go back in the floor where it belongs! The trashcan is a nice size, easy to use, easy to change the trash bags, and clean, and has a sleek modern look to it. It doesn’t take up too much space in the bathroom next to the toilet, came with a starter pack of trash liners, and it is large enough to take care of any tissues you may have for a week of use. You could also recycle standard grocery bags for the trash liners as the size is compatible. The trash can is made of plastic and is easy to wipe down to clean. It also has ventilation holes in the bottom of the can. The push button pop-up lid is a winner for me as I said my dog has figured out how to step on the “foot pedal type” trash cans to open them. Her paws will be too big to open this push-button if she can figure out how to do this. I would give the trashcan a five star rating, however due to its current price I think it’s priced a little high at approximately $40. I would expect to pay $20-$30 for this trash can, other than that I love the trash can and I think it’s a great can for any dog owners to keep pets out of the trash or someone that just wants an attractive trash can in the bathroom. I would recommend the trashcan for the reasons listed above, I would try to wait for it to be on sale unless you don’t mind the price point mentioned. Read more

Yes, I am in love with this garbage can. I know t4hat sounds odd, but let me explain. I have 7 cats. Yes, 7. My cats, can be odd a lot of times and 2 of them are absolutely obsessed with going into small garbage can we have all of the house and "route through" the can for whatever they can find that makes them happy. One loves cellophane wrap which can be a hazard for animals. This can has solved a big problem! This is the perfect size for my home office where I spend a lot of time and throw away different things that the cats may love. The cats cannot get into it and it is quite secure with the little push button to open the lid. The way the can is designed is that the outside container slides over top the basket which also makes it easier to empty - lift the body off, change the bag and body back on.
