After my hubby put 5” of memory foam on our already tall mattress I had two falls in one week. Our bedroom is a higher pile carpet. Not shag but higher than many. Both falls were because I am disabled and I’ve had autoimmune arthritis for 25 years. But when I got up from the bed and I guess my feet just hit that carpet differently and I started to slide the bed so mushy it was no help. There’s a wall on the other side that was no help and my nightstand was getting further and further away. It’s humiliating having to have someone help you get up twice in one week. Then I remembered to add hospital socks. But they’re so awful and huge and ugly, and you can see them in the picture below. You can tell how well they fit. On my right foot my new socks that I just bought and got today and they’re great. They’re not too hot which I was worried about. I live in Texas and it doesn’t get that cold where I live. They seem to be made really well. My daughter had found some on Amazon, but I decided to look myself and I found these so I think the price and the quality are great There were some I saw that were two for nine dollars and they didn’t look that well-made around the top cuff. They are very slip resistant and comfortable. The top cuff is not too tight across the front like some cheap socks are and because they’re 95% cotton they’re breathable and I need that so I would definitely buy these again. They’re perfect.! The colours are vibrant, the grip is effective, and the socks are comfortable, easy to put on and thick enough to act as a barrier. Wearability is suited for daily workout or routine errands. It also looks aesthetically pleasing. Read more
I purchased these for my yoga and pilates practice. They are snug, non-slip, and allow me to work out in confidence on my sticky mat with good grip. They are a bit thinner than others I’ve had in the past, but that doesn’t seem to affect their function. They wash and dry well so far. Great bargain - six pairs for the price. Colors are nice, too. 5 stars even though they're not the best for me. If you have foot neuropathy of any kind, veer left or right of these "slipper" socks. First, it's a bit of a contradiction to call them slipper socks for they are neither slip-on or slippery. 😁 However, for a lightweight alternative to house slippers or shoes, they're great. I thought I would be able to wear them even with my nerve pain because the non-slip nubs are pretty flat and larger then some others I have tried. Alas, not so. I can tolerate them with a pair of socks under, so for winter they'll do. But I'll have to find another alternative for my screaming feet for warm weather wear. Aside from the non-slip hubby bottoms, the fabric is soft and comfortable. They appear to be well-made with good stitching and no loose threads. But they are quite thin so idk how long they'll last with daily wear. They function well to prevent slipping and squeak like basketballers on a hard floor. 🏀⛹️♀️ idk about exercising in them. I usually do dance aerobics and have a feeling these might slide off my ankle but can't say for sure. Since the nubs hurt my tender feet, I'll never know. For yoga or Pilates, I think they'd be okay. I got the pack with black, Grey, lavender, pink, beige, and green. The beige is actually a lovely pale yellow. The pink is a little toward coral, or maybe 30% red. The colors are all pastel. See photos. I wear size 7-8 shoe depending on brand and chose the smaller size based on the size chart provided. Large might have been too big but the smaller ones are a bit too small and might be more suitable for no larger than size 6 shoe imo. They were vacuum packed in plastic and shipped in a brown cardboard envelope. 9-25-25 update. I've been wearing these socks daily and find that they do slip down off the heel. However, I have always had this problem with any ankle socks so it could just be me. I thought it worth mentioning though. I like them, but due to being such thin knit and slipping off my heel, I'm downgrading from 5 stars to 4. Read more
Finally, ped socks that stay on my feet! These socks stay on my feet all day, and even throughout the night in bed! I have wood floors that are quite slippery, so I need grip socks so I don't fall. These socks are perfect! Read more
Loved the colors. The material is thinner which is great for wearing with different shoes. I have purchased other brands with thicker materials in the past but those were difficult to fit in certain shoes. Sizing is on the smaller side. I wear women size 6 shoes and the "Medium" fits me well. Read more
Effective for preventing slipping on my laminate and tile flooring, but they are smaller than expected despite ordering the correct size. They are also pretty thin. Read more
I ordered these as a friend had recommended them, and they are nice and soft. They wash nicely and fit well without sagging or needing to be stretched to pull on. And keep me gripped on hard floors. I recently had surgery, so that was important for me. However I found them so comfy, I have continued to wear them indoors as my feet always seem to be on the cool side. All that said, the bumps are a little noticeable if I wear them with shoes. Read more
