Wrestled with the idea but ultimately the sale price got me and I gave it a try. These were so cute and they came in Godzilla size, what more could a big-footed girlie want?! I've had 2 pair mukluks slipper boots, in a 10 and an 11. The 10 was definitely small and I'm usually a 10.5 to 11 tennis shoe so I gambled on an 11in these. Even my big ol flappers were drowning in this pond. Way too big both length and width, not a manageable amount with a heel cushion or some such. Had the 10s been on sale for the same price I'd have tried them, but they were twice as much and (I am Princess and the Pea with shoe comfort) not comfortable enough to pay double. Specifically ther felt like they would blister my heel on at least one side. I will say that despite the lug sole, my feet didn't look even more Amazonian in these, and were cute with cropped pants.
