I've been reading up on silk pillowcases for curly hair. I don't buy it when people claim they help with wrinkles. That's a little extreme. As for the hair goes, it's definitely making my curly hair look better! I'm waking up to smoother, not so frizzy curls. This makes 2nd day curly hair much more manageable. I purchased the Lyshin Mulberry Silk Pillow Case a couple of months ago, and I have to say I really love it. The silk is incredibly soft and gentle, and it does exactly what I bought it for: protecting my hair and skin from friction. I have noticed fewer sleep lines on my face and less frizz in the mornings, and overall it helps me get a more comfortable night of sleep. One feature I really appreciate is the zipper closure. Many silk pillowcases do not have one, which means they can slide off the pillow during the night. This one zips securely and stays in place. The workmanship is excellent, the material feels high-quality and cooling, and the price was very reasonable for genuine mulberry silk. The only downside is that it stains easily, especially from night creams, lip balm, or anything containing oils. I hand wash mine every few days with a mild detergent, gently wring it out, and hang it to dry indoors. It dries surprisingly fast, usually within a couple of hours, even in cold winter air. Aside from the natural staining that comes with silk, these are wonderful pillowcases to sleep on. They are soft, cooling, high-quality, and very beneficial for hair and skin. I wasn't sure if these pillow cases would make a difference, but as someone who is...getting older, I figured it would be worth a shot. I have curly hair and noticed after the first night I didn't have to do as much "fixing" of my curls the next morning. I also had significantly less creases on my face from my cotton pillow case. I ended up gifting these to my family for Christmas because I liked them so much! I purchased several colors and noticed that the dark red bleeds onto the sheets, even after being washed several times so keep that in mind. Material feels pretty luxurious, without the insane price tag. Holds up well against wrinkles and the color is exactly as pictured. The king size is slightly smaller than expected, but I managed to make it work with one of my many pillows. I do notice a difference in my hair health since using it. Would definitely buy again. I love these silk pillowcases because I have naturally curly hair. It makes a huge difference! I tried a grounding pillow-case, but it wreaked havoc on my hair and I didn't notice a difference on my sleep quality, so I switched back to these silk pillowcases. They stay cool all night, feel good on my face when I sleep on my stomach, and wash and wear nicely. The size is a little on the small side--quite narrow, but they still work on my standard pillows.
