I like this stuff, but it's a weird product. It's an incredibly thin liquid - thin enough that if I were to accidentally knock the tub off my bathroom counter it would probably spill out on the floor. You can easily lift too much from the tub as you pretty much have to dip your finger in the liquid and hope for the best. It's not easy to use. The hold, however, is very good. It's not a particularly strong hold, at least not on my mid length and slightly thin hair, but it adds lots of volume and texture without feeling heavy, and I find my style holds throughout the day and can be reworked fairly easily. If the liquid were a little thicker and easier to use I'd probably give it five stars, but it's a sold 4 as is. Read more

Murdock of London's Sea Salt Paste comes in a squat metal container with a screw off cap. The paste is thick and tacky and has a pleasant salty and sweet scent. I apply a dollop to my hands, rub it between my palms to warm it up, apply it to my towel dried hair and then style my hair with my hands. It gives my hair a matte finish, great volume, and modest control without making my hair sticky or untantural looking. I have hair that is thick and wavy and about 6" long on top.
