Mixed with water it's not great but mixed with barista style oatmilk it's pretty good Read more
This mushroom matcha latte is really delicious! It’s great both hot and over ice. I’ve tried it mixed with a little oat milk or 1% milk and it’s tasty with both. Read more

When I first considered this Mushroom Matcha Latte, my expectation was a very serious, deeply earthy health concoction. I pictured myself conscientiously whisking a dark green powder, bracing for a strong, possibly challenging taste in the name of wellness and mental clarity from all those fantastic fungi and probiotics. The thought of "14 mushrooms" and "ceremonial matcha" suggested something akin to a mystical potion, potent and perhaps a bit austere. The reality? This wasn't just a drink; it was an unexpected journey into accidental alchemy, where health met surprisingly palatable results. My usual morning routine doesn't normally involve a carefully calibrated level of caffeine, but the thought of integrating these powerful mushrooms was intriguing. I approached my first cup like a cautious scientist. I stirred the powder into hot water, observing the rather demure green hue that emerged, a far cry from the vibrant emerald I'd seen in pure matcha ads. A brave sip. And then, confusion. It wasn't the dirt-flavored ordeal I'd prepared for. It wasn't even particularly mushroomy. Instead, there was a subtle earthiness, yes, but quickly followed by a creamy, almost sweet undertone that must be the MCT powder. It was… drinkable. Surprisingly so. There was a mild grassy note from the matcha, mingling with something unexpectedly comforting. It didn't taste like a traditional matcha ceremony, more like a gentle, warming hug from a very health-conscious gnome. This mushroom matcha latte is ideal for anyone who's curious about the benefits of mushrooms like lion's mane, reishi, and chaga, but is hesitant about their taste. It's perfect for those seeking an "instant latte mix" that's vegan, sugar free, and non-GMO, to easily incorporate a dose of superfoods into their daily routine. It's especially suited for individuals who appreciate a creamy texture in their drinks without adding milk. If your goal is wellness and you don't mind a subtle, unique flavor profile, this could be your new secret weapon. The mix arrived in a sealed bag, protecting the powder. The packaging clearly listed all the numerous ingredients, from the various mushrooms to the probiotics and MCT powder. The powder itself was fine and consistent. All aspects were in perfect condition upon unboxing. As for giftability, this Mushroom Matcha Latte would be a fantastic and amusing gift for that one friend who's always experimenting with new health trends, or the relative who's trying to cut down on sugar but still loves a warm, creamy drink. It's a thoughtful present that's both intriguing and genuinely beneficial. My purchase of the Mushroom Matcha Latte was well worth it, earning a 5 out of 5 stars. It certainly delivered on its promise of combining powerful ingredients, and its unexpected palatability was a pleasant surprise. No mistakes were made in its formulation; it's a very unique blend. My expectations for its flavor, based on the sheer number of mushrooms, were so wildly different from the actual subtle and creamy reality. It didn't taste like pure ceremonial matcha, nor was it the intense earthy experience I braced for, but rather a surprisingly smooth and enjoyable daily tonic. Read more
Very sweet, very chalky: does not mix well with cold water and ice. I tried this as an alternative to Rize due to cost but it’s no comparison. Read more
I've had mushroom coffee with coconut powder and MCT oil before before, and I've had matcha before, but I was not sure what to expect till I tasted this. It's a fine quality matcha tea powder with coconut powder, MCT oil, guar gum (an inocuous thickening ingredient), and some sort of probiotics. I often like matcha best cold but I did prepare this product hot in order to get the best result. It has no sweeteners, but I was surprised that to me this mushroom matcha latte tastes ever so slightly sweet, I am not sure what that is from. It's also surprisingly a bit creamy, which has clearly been achieved by coconut milk and guar gum. So often I feel the urge to sweeten these keto drink powders with some sugar free coffee syrup but this matcha drink is rather good, albeit not particularly strong, all by itself. It has a genuine, smooth and pleasant matcha taste. The probiotic in this is Bacillus coagulans, according to the product info. Since I made this tea with quite hot water, I assumed it probably died, and I questioned the concept of putting probiotic bacteria in a tea made with hot water. But surprisingly, Bacillus coagulans is pretty hardy. At least some will survive briefly being at or near boiling temperature. It is thought to have a range of digestive, metabolic, and other benefits. This has a bit of caffeine in it because it has tea in it. But this is not what I'd pick to drink when I was really sleepy or dragging. I might drink it when I just want to feel more focused. I've found in the past that Lion's Mane mushroom helps me with that, though it might take more than the 100 mg per serving that the ingredients state (I don't know about all the other mushrooms, and to be honest I think multi-mushroom blends are largely a gimmick, though someone is getting rich off of convincing people that powdered mixed mushrooms are a health boon). The MCT oil may help my energy and brain function. At certain times I fast and MCT oil is a bit of brain fuel that, if I understand correctly, helps fight food cravings during fasting as well. Some say that it helps kickstart ketosis (fat burning). I don't expect massive health benefits from a pleasant matcha drink. But I do like that it's healthy and tastes good. Read more
