I am really glad that I ordered up, I am typically a size 8 to 8.5 depending on the brand of shoe and very rarely I will but size 9s in shoes (only in New Balance shoes that I wear for work, and it is not a need, sometimes that is the only shoe size left, but I ended up selecting a 9 in these slippers as a just in case and I am really glad I did because they are kinda tight on my feet. Not enough to feel like I can't wear them, just enough that had I bought an 8, I know I would not be able to wear them. I don't think these shoes come in half sizes so make sure you size up. The box these came in was a little dented, but it was inside a bag, so it had no bearing on the product and with it being the holiday season, I expected that since delivery service is busy busy. These slippers did come in their own individual dust bags, so that was nice! There is a weird scent, but I think once they stay out of the box for a while, it will be a non-issue. But if you are really sensitive to smells, just know it will most likely have one. Overall, I think these are cute and I like them! I think I will be wearing them around the house a lot this winter. I love these so much! They are so soft inside, and I love that they have this ballet style strap over the top to make them super easy to slip on and off. They also have awesome tread on them (pictured below) so great for those Wisconsin winters, and the platform soles are so fun and add this cool element to them. I have to say, these mini ankle boots from MUSSHOE are surprisingly great! They fit well and the fur lining is super cozy inside, which is exactly what you want in a house slipper. The look is definitely "evolved," and I'm not going to lie, they kind of remind me of the fancy orthopedics my grandma wears—but in a totally cool, fashion-forward way, lol! **It states that these are "Ankle Boots" and I don't really see how they can call them that. These slippers are very well made from quality fabric. I would have liked them to have a bit more cushion on the bottom but it's not a deal breaker. They are still very comfy, cozy and warm. They seem to run about a half size on the small size so you might want to size up. At $49.99 when I ordered them is a good value for the price. These slippers were a good find. Read more
