My crafty friends all want them & I love them
I got these for my craft room. I liked the first set so well I bought a second set. I use them for everything you would use a paper towel for from cleaning off my stamps to wiping glitter off the floor. I have seven grandkids who I craft with as well as my friends and they all know to use the microfiber cloths. I keep a wet one in a container and a dry one next to me when I’m working. When the kids or my friends come over, everyone gets set up with them. I have another brand that I have in the kitchen area that I don’t like as well so I can tell you that these are a better quality than some brands that are out there. The stitching holds. No strings. No fading and remarkably few stains for what we put them through. The shapes are not always exactly square which doesn’t matter to me. The majority are straight squares. I would much rather grab a micro cloth than a paper towel for cleanup. I think it does a better job and they wash like a dream on cold water. We use many types of inks, glue, texture pastes and various paints. A lot of paper crafters use baby wipes to clean stamps, etc. but I dislike the disposable aspect of using those all the time. I haven’t done the math, but I’m certain buying micro cloths in the long run will be cheaper. I can’t argue on which has a better footprint. When all is done in my room I just grab all of the cloths and I toss them in whatever laundry I have to go next. I do hang them on the stairs railing to dry, lol. Occasionally one gets missed and they go through the dryer. It does not seem to affect them. I did read that it lengthens the life of the product. When my gal pals were over, one of them mentioned she had been looking for microfibers cloths like mine. She shops locally only, then another gal pal chimed in that she had also been looking for them online, but there were so many. I told them that I would just order some for everyone. I asked them what colors they wanted and they all wanted purple like mine because they mean crafting. I know of some cleaning companies that will use a different color for different purposes. Purple is for crafting and green is for cleaning the rest of the house. I love the 16 x 16 especially when a drink spills. They suck whatever it is right up. It’s also a great size for wiping down the shower. They are too big to use as a washcloth, but they work fine in a small wash tub to clean my dirty stencils. You can see that I love these. I recommend you buy some and try them out. Read more
