I adore this keyboard. It's well-made, the keys are solid and have the perfect amount of thock without getting annoying. The volume circular turning mechanism (I don't know what to call it) is genius - I'm constantly using it. I'm trying to figure out with how I can get away with taking this to work. Read more

LOVE THIS KEYBOARD SO MUCH!! Read more
When I first saw this keyboard I had to check to see if it was even real, because it looked too good to be true! Typically only fan-made projects have this level of design passion and ability to nail the character of a brand properly. Given the current state of Hasbro, I didn't think it would be possible for something like this to exist - but whoever worked on these keyboards clearly has a lot of love for My Little Pony and did it absolute justice. The art and color choices and entire vibe of the thing is purely magic - from the lettering to the intricate art on some of the keys to the amazing packaging which makes for a fantastic display and conversation piece. But besides the amazing theming, the keyboard is solid as well - helping me type this report this very moment! While I prefer cherry profile to the MOA keycaps that this uses, I've gotten used to it. The linear switches feel and sound great for a smooth typing experience. The quality of the board is the maximum quality that you'd expect from one of the better mid range to high end manufacturers like Redragon, Aula, Epomaker etc. as the increase of quality of these companies has improved tremendously over the years - it makes sense that the output would be able to trickle down to even a licensed product like this - but I would say with the theming and packaging it really takes that to a whole new level. The keyboard is what you'd expect from a modern mechanical with tri mode connectivity (wired/bluetooth/2.4 ghz). The 2.4ghz dongle has a storage slot on the back wall and snaps in magnetically - and even has a branding logo on it which is a testament to the level of detail here. This keyboard has a knob in the corner which handles volume and mute. As a 98% layout, the key it sacrifices is the "end" key, but the mapping can be changed using software if need be; the web address for the driver is in the product information images. The software itself is a My Little Pony skinned variant of the very common OEMDRV software that most of the midrange manufacturers use; no more and no less. You get 2 function keys and 16 light mode variations despite the instruction card saying that there are 20. Unfortunately there is no lit reactive lighting mode, so its a little less usable in the dark for my habits. Keycaps are opaque so light only comes through the gaps in the keys. A couple of other minor issues is that there's no rubber feet in the middle of the board, and that the driver theming is specific to the pink version of the board and can't be changed to match the purple one that I'm using. Those issues are insignificant, however given the quality and love put into this product. I wish other things I were a fan of would get this kind of treatment and have my fingers crossed that a G1 Transformers one will be made someday! Highly recommended! Read more

This My Little Pony mechanical keyboard somehow manages to be both delightfully whimsical and useable for grown-up tasks, which is a rare combo in themed peripherals. The 101-key layout is compact but not cramped, with a generous knob that actually turns smoothly instead of acting like a decoration. Build quality is solid for a themed board, the case has minimal flex, and the stabilizers are pre-lubed well enough that big keys don’t sound like a marching band. The RGB is bright and well-diffused through the keycaps, giving the whole thing a polished, intentional look rather than a chaotic light show. Technically, the custom linear switches feel smooth and satisfyingly consistent, great for both long typing sessions and rapid gaming presses. Hot-swap sockets mean you can swap switches without committing to therapy-level soldering tasks, which is a blessing for customization addicts. Triple-connection modes (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz dongle, and USB-C wired) actually work as advertised, switching between devices is easy and responsive, and latency on the 2.4GHz dongle is competitive for casual and many serious gamers. The knob controls volume by default and is programmable for other media or macro functions, which is far more useful than a random macro key that no one uses. Installation is pleasantly simple: plug in for wired, insert the dongle for wireless low-latency, or pair via Bluetooth for office laptop serenity, and the keycaps and switches are straightforward to change with the included pullers. Software for RGB mapping and macros is functional, not featureless, though power users may miss deeper layering or cloud profiles. The ergonomic profile leans slightly toward a flat-to-sculpted feel, which keeps wrists reasonably neutral for long sessions, though a dedicated wrist rest will still be appreciated by keyboard snobs. Design-wise it’s playful without being juvenile, a tasteful My Little Pony motif that coordinates with a setup rather than overpowering it. :D Read more

I got the purple version of this board (Twilight sparkle). Pretty glad I did! The caps seem like MOA profile caps and they end up giving the board in conjunction with the rest of the construction a very thocky sound and feel. I'm kind of digging the switches they have in here, even though they are linear and I'm more of a tactile and clicky fan. The board has a bit of a flat profile so you're going to want to use a wrist wrest and probably the stand to avoid fatigue. The macro keys all seemed pretty functional, although certain functions didn't work because I'm using Popos and they seem to expect windows. It connected right away (wired) regardless, so I'd say it's very plug and play. It looks really good, between the rgb (yes you can customize the hue as well) and the keycaps are very nice. Overall not a bad board and a pretty decent value, given I've seen people shell out similar amounts just for caps alone. Read more
