I was pleasantly surprised by this bag. It feels and looks good, and holds a good amount of items as well. One of the included straps is woven, so it may show dirt after a while, but it can be traded out fairly easily if it gets too worn. The other strap is made of the same material as the handbag. The bag itself is made of faux leather. It's a nice faux leather that looks good; if you feel it you aren't likely to mistake it for real leather, but that's ok. It still looks and feels nice. The outside of the bag has a hidden zipper pocket that just peeks out under the top layer. You can just see the zipper pull peeking out, but otherwise it's hidden, which makes it good for keeping important documents that you want to have quickly available but still secure. Inside, there are two small pockets - one with a zipper and one without. They are relatively small, but would easily hold a lipstick and compact, or a pen and small notepad. The rest is open, and fairly spacious. This isn't designed to hold everything in the world like a big tote bag, but it can hold a good sized wallet, keys, phone and other necessities that we usually toss in our purses. Overall, this makes for a nice everyday bag, or a travel handbag. It looks nice and is functional. The leather strap will probably be more durable if fabric belt gets dirty. I like the outside hidden pocket that can comfortably hold my phone. There are two useful pockets inside- one is zippered.
