I purchased this on a whim. I had always admired the look of Myra bags, but never took the steps to purchase one. I really liked the look of the front panel with the meadow flowers, but the picture just didn't do the bag justice. I almost canceled after my order because I just wasn't completely sold based on the pictures. So glad I did not cancel. The bag is so much nicer in person than it looks in the photos. The canvas is a dusty, charcoal gray and the leather is darker than appears in the picture. The bag feels very sturdy and well made. The adjustable leather straps are solid and heavy duty. The whole look is very vintage with the leather, brass hardware, and canvas. The interior lining is a lightweight cotton fabric. The bag has a slouchy, comfortable feel and is the perfect size for everyday use. Lots of pockets makes it very useful for keeping your smaller items organized. Hopefully it will last a long time. Love this bag! I really like its uniqueness and repurposing of fabrics. It’s well made, durable and has plenty of room. The strap is adjustable and I found the price to be fair, especially for something you aren’t going to find everywhere! Read more
I usually spend $300 on leather bags from Michael Kors, Coach, and others. This time I wanted something cute and casual for jeans and t-shirts. This is perfect! It is very nice quality, and has a vintage boho look. It is well-made , with perfect stitching and solid rivets. The fabric is a very heavy denim. The leather straps are a muted gray-brown, which adds to the vintage feel. The strap can be adjusted very long, which I like because I like my crossbody to be at hip length. I actually didn’t even extend it all the way. It would be plenty long for a tall person. The hardware is a tarnished brass finish, which complements the aged look of the bag. Since it is unstructured, it actually holds a lot! This “bag snob” is very happy with this purchase, especially since it is inexpensive. Read more
This is my first Myra bag and it's a winner! Love that it can be used as a crossbody, which I plan to do for travel, or as a shoulder bag. It's super lightweight and a great size - smaller than my numerous tote bags but plenty big to hold the essentials. Plus I love the neutral colors and that it's made from upcycled materials - the canvas seems very durable, and the leather accents add a nice touch. The pattern is lovely, the craftsmanship looks solid (seams, zippers and clasps), and the price can't be beat. And lastly, a shoutout to the seller - the package arrived in perfect condition and a few days earlier than expected! Overall, very happy with this purchase. Read more
Cute bag but it is not a gray color. It is all various shades of brown. I expected the flowers to be almost navy, but they are very brown. I think navy would look much nicer. Nevertheless it’s a nice enough bag so I’ll keep it Read more
I have never been disappointed with a Myra bag, and this one is no exception. It's a great size and holds everything I need on a daily basis. Most bags these days have a very narrow bottom. Once you put in a wallet, the bottom is filled. That's not the case with this bag. It has a nice wide bottom. I have three different items (wallet, zipper bag & small notebook) sitting side by side and the bag is not bulging out. The interior pockets easily hold my cell phone without it falling out. There is a zipper pocket on the inside as well and one on the back of the bag. They are not overly large but deep enough so items don't get caught in the zipper. The canvas is a good quality, the color and print are great and the handle clips have a swivel. As someone else mentioned, the strap that goes over the top has a connection that is a little tricky if you're trying to move through a checkout quickly, but it certainly isn't impossible. Read more
I really love this purse. The Hobo style is so cute and it slouches perfectly. It's decently big and can hold more than it looks like it could hold, but it also looks cute when it's not filled completely. I can fit a book and my tablet in here with all the normal day-to-day stuff that's always in my purse. I did modify the strap, which i thought was way too long. I cut about 12-15 inches off of it and put in a new rivet. I wanted it to have a shorter strap for when I wear it on a single shoulder, and it's still plenty long for me to wear cross-body after cutting it. Read more
LOVE!!! It’s the greatest. I never use large purses, but needed this to carry lots of documents and water and all the things to lots of appointments lately. It makes my life easier with lots of convenient pockets to put 2 pairs of eyeglasses, phone, water, keys, etc. and it’s really sturdy. If I have to carry a large purse, glad I found this one.
