I bought this cover because my couch isn't a typical shape, so the stretch covers don't fit correctly at the seams. This cover is nice - it is soft enough but not reversible. I am a bit surprised it is advertised that it could be a blanket or a wrap since the inside of the cover is more like the thin underside of an area rug (not as stiff or rough though). Still, the color is beautiful (the blue is a little deeper than what my picture shows) and the lace edges are quality and seem sturdy. I haven't washed it yet, so I have no comment in that regard, but I did buy the size up from what was recommended so that the edges of the cover would come closer to the floor (on the sides of the couch specifically). The back of the couch is only covered about 1/3 of the way down, but my couch sits against the wall, so that doesn't matter to me. I do have 3 dogs (one is 40 lbs), and they like to lay on my couch, but they curl up right away and don't "dig" or try to fluff up the cushions before they curl up, so there have been no issues with the cover ripping. The cover does wrinkle after being sat on and I do wish that I didn't feel the need to pull it out from between the cushions every time I get up. This works great for me even though I am not typically into lace. It kind of has a boho style to it, and the right pillows/throw blankets keep it from looking like my grandma's couch :) What would make it 5 stars for me is if it had the same material on the backside, and there was enough material to cover the back of my couch. I’ve purchased 2 of these 3 times !!! I have a very EXPENSIVE couch but also have pets. We try to have the pets of the couch when we are at home but really can’t do anything about it when we are out . So I purchased these the first time and they look so great that now we barely ever take them off ! I think this year we only took them off to clean them and on Christmas and new years . Decent material. Beautiful color. Rather lightweight. Was meant to cover our ugly, cat scratched couch, but it ends up sliding around everywhere and the arms still show. I guess if you have pillows or another material than leather it should be fine. Thinking about just using the fabric to make floor pillows at this point. Read more
