Once upon a time, I never would have thought to use a separate cleanser just for my eyelids and lashes. Even back when I wore makeup regularly, I washed my entire face with the same cleanser and never gave my eyes any special attention. As I’ve gotten older and developed dry eyes, though, I’ve become more open to trying products that support eye comfort beyond just drops. I’ve had good experiences with eyelid cleansing wipes in the past, so I was curious to try this foaming cleanser. Overall, I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The foam feels gentle, soothing, and refreshing, and it leaves my eyelids and lashes feeling clean without any irritation. It’s clearly formulated with sensitive eyes in mind, which gives me confidence using it so close to the eye area. That said, it’s not as convenient as wipes for on-the-go use, so I see this more as a home routine product rather than something I’d travel with. A little goes a long way, though, so the bottle lasts longer than you might expect. While the price initially feels high at close to $20 per ounce, the small amount needed per use helps balance that out. When compared to similar products, this falls right in the middle. There are cheaper options available, but there are also much more expensive ones. Overall, I think this is a solid, well-formulated eyelid cleanser. The ingredients feel clean and gentle, it works well for sensitive eyes, and I can see myself continuing to keep it on hand as part of my eye care routine. Some background around the tester: I am a middle-aged male who traditionally washes his face in the shower, using either a gentle skin cleanser from brands like Cerave or an acne face scrub. I generally do not wash my face in my sink each evening because I will shower again at night using products listed above. However, for the purposes of this review, I did test this foaming facial cleanser outside of the shower at my sink. First off, the product arrived promptly and was packaged and sealed a new condition. Upon initial testing, it smelled pleasant and the dispenser functioned as it should. It did not feel greasy or leave any bothersome residue on my skin after using. I have not found that this product is superior with regard to efficacy relative to other good quality facial cleaners but it certainly is not inferior. I would consider this a good cleanser in a travel size, but lost a point for value given the smaller volume. Read more

TL;DR: Gentle, non-irritating foaming eye cleanser that removes oil-based makeup, rinses clean, and lasts about four months with nightly use. No fragrance or essential oils, and very easy on sensitive eye skin. Review: I usually wash my face at night with a traditional soap bar. It’s effective, but it requires some care around the eyes to avoid irritation. If I don’t rinse completely, I’m quickly reminded of that when I open my eyes. I ordered this foaming wash to add to my nighttime routine, and it has worked very well. The foaming pump dispenses a consistent amount, and one pump provides enough foam to clean both eyes. It does an excellent job cleansing the sensitive skin around the eyes without causing irritation. After washing, a quick splash of water rinses it away completely. It’s effective enough to remove oil-based makeup and leaves the skin clean and ready for my nighttime serum. The ingredient list is straightforward and well chosen for peri-ocular skin. The detergents (sodium cocoamphoacetate, lauryl glucoside, sodium cocoyl glutamate, cocamidopropyl betaine) are mild and commonly used in eye and baby cleansers. Phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin are standard low-level preservatives. While very sensitive users can react to phenoxyethanol, there are no obvious red flags here, and the formula is free of fragrances and essential oils. I’ve personally found it very gentle and have been using it every night. It comes in a 1.7 fl oz bottle with a foaming pump. I weighed one pump at approximately 0.4 g. Assuming the total product weight is roughly equivalent to water (about 50 g), that works out to around 125 pumps per bottle, or roughly four months of nightly use at one pump per day. At current pricing (under $20 per ounce), it represents a good value given how gentle and effective it is. Read more

This foaming eye cleanser called “Honey, My Eyes Feel Great!” has been a gentle addition to my routine. I use it to clean around my eyelids and lashes, especially when I’ve been wearing makeup or just want to refresh the area. It pumps out as a light foam and feels soft when massaged in. I follow the directions by removing my contacts first, then using a fingertip to apply and rinse thoroughly with water. The formula includes purified water, Dead Sea salt, and manuka honey, which gives it a soothing feel. It also has glycerin and a mix of mild cleansers like sodium cocoyl isethionate and cocamidopropyl betaine. I haven’t experienced any irritation or dryness, and it leaves the skin around my eyes feeling clean without any residue. The scent is subtle and fresh, not overpowering. I keep it on my bathroom shelf and use it a few times a week. The bottle is small but lasts a while since you only need a little foam each time. I like that it’s made in Brooklyn and the packaging is simple and clear. It’s become part of my wind-down routine when I want to feel refreshed without using anything harsh. Overall, it's pretty easy to use since you just pump it and it's a good value for the money because you don't use a lot of it at one time. So far it's been effective for me as part of my skin care routine. Read more
