I received this item for free from Vine. This is a really nice nail clipper set. I work in event production and break my nails all the time. This kit has been great for helping me keep what length is left with clean cutting. They are made from a very sturdy metal and seem like they will last a long time. My partners toe nails are abnormally thick and he is able to trim them with ease using these. I like that they come in a kit so they are easy to bring along with me for work. These look fantastic and come in a very attractive case. However the cover design makes it hard to see exactly what you're doing with the more traditional-shaped clippers. They angled one is the best as the blades are more exposed and you can see what you're about to cut! They are all very sharp and seem to be made from high quality materials. Read more

The curved clippers are the best in this set. They are very helpful for ingrown toenails. The other clippers are not very sharp and they slip out of position easily. They have a cover on them that makes it difficult to get under the nail to clip it. The curved clippers are the only ones useful in this set. Read more

There is a part on the bottom of them that slides, which I'm not sure what it's for. Perhaps for collecting & emptying nails?
