I’m not a senior citizen yet, still technically mid life crisis time. That being said, I should have bought this kit in my twenties. It’s very sharp, precise, and most of all, way easier to use than traditional cheap finger/toe nail clippers. This cured an annoying problem: I occasionally let my toenails grow a little too long, then inevitably got caught in bare feet and was embarrassed. This was entirely because trimming one’s own toenails with the lame clippers that cost a few dollars…sucks. Especially if you are not the most flexible person on the planet. They constantly slip and get dropped as designed to do so. Because of the flat design, clippings tended to fly off to the side rather than be more controlled, trapping clippings for easier disposal. They also get dull quickly and I’m blessed with good strong nails on toes and fingers, so I was more “crushing” them off than actually cutting them. Seriously, after not that many uses, got to the point I couldn’t actually cut through them! Fingernails are less of a chore to maintain, I’m a guitar/bass player, so this is part of a regular maintenance routine. It still was difficult for above reasons, just less awkward. This all changed with this great nail grooming tool set. Now I’m neatly trimmed, even filed, because it’s way easier to do overall. So much so I almost enjoy trimming now. They are much more stable in the hand, so I don’t drop them 5 times just trying to get the job done. Especially the “plier” style clippers, which manage to make this task feel more...manly…I guess. Bottom line: non-elderly dude endorsed! Be trimmed, look and feel good, make life easier. Read more
