The upper lip fuzz is no more. First use thoughts: YAY! Waxing sucks. Of course IDK how long this will last, so I will update my opinion, but as for right now? Minutes after first use? Love it. There's a little bit of burn. It seems to effect actual lip area the most so avoid leaving any cream on the pretty parts. Smells like perm.I tried being smart and applying it with a brush, but the stuff started to eat the dye off my cheap make-up brush hairs, so I quickly abandoned that idea and went for finger application. As instructed, lol. I put thick Bath&Body moisturizer on upper lip area after removing cream, and the burn has calmed. I suggest following instructions and not overthinking it. I got this 2 years ago cause I have always dealt with excessive hair on my upper lip. Idk if anyone else really notices but I do for sure. I use this every couple of months on it and it’s perfect. Plucking hurts so bad and sometimes bleeds and I don’t wanna mess with waxing. So I leave this on for around 5 mins then wipe off. I wait a few mins so it won’t damage my skin (never has, just gotta be careful) and then apply to any spots with darker hair that didn’t quite come off yet, just for 2-3 mins more. Apply a bit of Vaseline or something to it and the redness doesn’t last long if your skin isn’t very sensitive. Would recommend! I love this cause I don’t worry about it growing back weird. I haven’t used Nair since high school (I’m 27) I bought this because I have some hair on my upper lip. I had laser hair removal treatments but the hair color is too light to effectively be removed. But it’s still there and dark enough to bother me. I only used this for 3 minutes instead of the recommend 5 minutes and it definitely caused skin irritation. I’ve never rated a product so low before, and a few months ago my rating would have been much higher. Sadly this product seems to have permanently damaged my skin and I’ve been so heartbroken over it. I’d been using this product for about seven months without any issues, only needing to reapply every few weeks or so which was awesome. This product also doesn’t burn or have a disgusting smell like a lot of other hair removal creams which was a huge bonus. I don’t have sensitive skin and have never had issues with facial products before, but ever since I used this last(about two months ago), my face hasn’t stopped breaking out. Every day without fail there’s a fresh breakout, from cystic acne to small tiny pimples. The photo I’ve attached(sorry for how gross it is) is actually a very mellow day for me, but this is a non stop battle. I literally just looked in the mirror and notice three new small pimples have surfaced since this afternoon. I’ve tried everything to remedy my skin, including not touching it at all to let it heal on its own, but nothing is helping. I haven’t broken out like this since I was a kid and don’t know what to do anymore. There is a warning on the label that certain individuals may experience allergic reactions to the product even if they’ve used it before without issues, but didn’t think this would happen to me after using it for so long. So…be warned lovelies. I loved this product for a long time, but sadly I’m left with awful skin now. I wish I could reverse time. Update(three weeks after original review): My skin has gotten so much worse. Every breakout is cystic now. I'm going to have to make an appointment with a dermatologist since I haven't touched my skin for weeks aside from applying a few acne patches to avoid irritating painful bumps in my sleep and the breakouts keep worsening. Literally every few hours there is a new pimple forming that I didn't notice before, and I have some deep bumps forming at the moment that I already know are cystic. It really works! I read all the reviews before buying this because I do have kind of sensitive skin, but this did not bother it at all. In 5 minutes it got rid of all of the peach fuzz on my chin, jawline, neck, and upper lip! Definitely do not leave on longer than 5 minutes because I could see where it potentially could cause irritation if left on longer. After the 5 minutes I wiped it off with warm water and a washcloth and my skin was baby smooth! I just did it an hour ago and still no irritation. I will say this though, it does smell a little chemically/funky but who cares, it works lol! I will definitely be putting this on my subscribe and save, I highly recommend this for those that are looking to get rid of unwanted facial hair. Read more
