As a fitness trainer, my sleep quality and comfort are everything. I have a very firm hybrid mattress, but lately Ive noticed when I'm sore from training I wasn't sleeping as well as I needed to. I even have 5 pillows on my bed because when I lay down I need to find the perfect position so I don't feel stress on my hips, back or shoulders. Long story short, let me just say, I'm going to need to set the alarm from now on because I slept so heavenly on this topper, that I don't remember waking up once during the night. It IS true to description and maybe even better. Thick, fluffy, consistent, amazing comfort. My body melted when I got into bed. I believe the packaging suggests to let it "be" for bout half a day before putting it to use, but I think I let mine it unwind for about 5-6 hours before I decided I needed to wash it before using it same day I received it. We have a solid foam 7" thick mattress (manufactured locally to fit a Murphy bed) which is only marginally softer than laying directly on the ground. Bought this to try to soften it up a bit and this particular one because of the positive reviews. It helped but ended up pairing with a LUCID 2 Inch 5 Zone Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper and the two, in combination, make the hard foam mattress way more comfortable. This topper has a nice skirt with works well with the foam topper to keep everything "together" on the base mattress. When we no longer need to use this bed, we can remove and store the two toppers and close the bed. In a pinch, will be able to use the foam mattress as is but for longer term use, these two toppers will be pulled out of storage. Some reviews have commented on odor. My wife has a very sensitive nose (especially when it comes to chemical odors) but she had no issues with this topper. So, It’s been a minute since I bought this topper for my adult daughter and have to say it has held up pretty well. Although it states not to machine wash, I do 😏 and it’s still in great shape. Well, don't wash it because it will shrink 1/4 it's size. I washed it as soon as I got it and there's about 2 inches of mattress showing on each side. I haven't slept on yet, hopefully at least that parts nice. Glad I bought it nearly 1/2 off. Read more

Look, I read what feels like hundreds of reviews, good and bad, so that I make sure I'm not buying an awful product. It's sometimes exhausting! I can tell you, I could not be happier with this purchase. Like sleeping on clouds! Honestly, I expected something much cheaper in quality and maybe not as fluffy as I wanted... but wow was I surprised! Perfectly fluffy, adds I would say about 2 inches realistically and that's when laying down on it, fluffier on its own, but it's a substantial amount of filling and padding for a basic topper! It feels like more padding and I woke up with no back pain. And No. It IS NOT MEMORY FOAM. So, if you're searching for memory foam or something specific for keeping you cool at night, serious injury back support, etc., you will probably be disappointed in this purchase. If you're like me and just need to give your old mattress a little feels-almost-like-new pick me up, this is probably the best you're going to find!
