I love this cactus bed and got it because I have purchased other nanodog beds from TJ Maxx/HomeGoods in the past with excellent outcomes! My Frenchies love these beds and splay out in them all day long. This cactus is no different other than they fit each other to get into it and then they fight because only one can fit inside at a time… which has led to some very funny photo ops! I thought my dog would like this, since it enjoys hiding in under chairs and couches, etc., and also likes lying down in regular dog beds, and even likes sleeping in a crate sometimes... So this cupcake-bed seemed perfect, since it's the right size (my dog is a Chihuahua -- anything bigger than a cat or a very small dog would have a tougher time getting all the way in here) and from the dog's perspective it should seem like a very cozy little cave (while my kids get a kick out of the outside looking like a giant chocolate cupcake).... However, so far my dog refuses to go inside of the cupcake. My kids have tried placing him inside, and they're tied offering him treats inside as well -- but as soon as he's grabbed his treat, he runs right back out. I guess he'd rather go leave dog hair all over our chairs, couches, shoes, pillows, coats, and anything else he shouldn't be lying down on but loves to lie down on -- instead of using this nice cupcake cave bed like he should be doing! Oh well. We're going to keep the cupcake around for a few more weeks to see if the dog warms up to it. Otherwise, we'll be donating it to someone that has a dog or cat that appreciates novelty cupcake beds more haha. Overall, this seems like a pretty nice item -- the material is soft and fluffy, and the colors are vibrant. It needed to be shaped and puffed up a bit after being unpacked since it was squished in the box -- but that was too be expected. It also has a little bit of an off-putting chemical/cleaner smell when first unpacked, but that seemed to go away after being aired out for a few hours... I wonder if my dog was annoyed by that smell. We haven't tried washing the cupcake yet, so we'll have to see how it holds up after a run through the washing machine. Read more

My cat, Peaches, can be quite the picky princess when it comes to her comfort. But let me tell you, the NANDOG Pineapple Bed has completely won her over! Here's why it gets 5 stars from both of us: The Ultimate Cat Cave: This giant pineapple bed is like a kitty wonderland. Peaches loves burrowing inside and curling up for naps. The plush material feels incredibly soft and cozy, and the shape provides a sense of security that she seems to find comforting. Adorable Design: Let's face it, this bed is just plain adorable! The giant pineapple design is a conversation starter, and it adds a fun and whimsical touch to my living room. Peaches may not appreciate the aesthetics, but I certainly do! Surprisingly Spacious: Even though it's designed for both dogs and cats, I wasn't sure if it would be big enough for Peaches to sprawl out in. Thankfully, my worries were unfounded. The large size allows her to stretch out comfortably, which is something she loves to do. Seems Easy to Clean: The removable inner cushion seems easy to take out and wash, which is a big plus for any pet bed. Cat messes happen, and it's great that the bed can be easily maintained. Peaches Approved! The most important factor of course, is Peaches' satisfaction. She absolutely loves this bed! I ordered this for my sister’s dog that is living with me since she is sick. This little guy absolutely hates this pineapple! LOL! My giant 16 pound dog; however, loves this! One of my other little girls lays in this as well. Her cat and dog are both not fond of it though lol. It is such a cute little bed! The bed part is super soft and its cozy. I think my big girl likes it because no one can try and cuddle with her. She isn’t a cuddle dog when it comes to other dogs. The rest of the pineapple is soft. I don’t think more than 16 pounds will fit in this. I definitely recommend for a toy breed dog or a cat! Read more

The cushion comes out for easy washing and the design is adorable. It feels like very nice quality and is sturdy. The pillow is nice and soft. Unfortunately, my dog is not too keen on going inside so I'm still working on that with him. It might be a bit too small for him to enter easily and turn around. (He's about 17lbs and while technically a small dog, he has a long body and is large for his breed.) The entrance is about 9 inches tall. He might appreciate it more in colder months when he wants snuggles more. He does like to attack the cactus' arms and drag it around so I guess it makes a great toy too. The one thing I dislike is that the cactus has a hanging flower decoration inside on an elastic cord. I'm going to snip that out since it will probably be an annoyance to my dog and I am personally paranoid of pet strangulation hazards. Read more
