Because he tends to snore, my husband has worn a nasal strip every night for at least ten years. We have found that the most important factor in effectiveness is how well the nasal strip adheres to the nose overnight. It is crucial that the strip is applied to a clean and dry face, as oils will cause the adhesive to release. This set is unique in that it contains two different types of nasal strips (see pictures), which makes it perfect for someone trying them for the first time. Sometimes, one of the types is more effective than the other. The price of this set is very low when compared to the name brand. Currently, each strip is only about 13 cents! My husband reports that this brand (both varieties) sticks very well through the night. They are high-quality, easy to apply, and easy to remove. I have a deviated septum and have trouble breathing through my nose at night and thought these may help. At first they seemed to help a little, but only for a about an hour. Got the black ones and they look and function more than adequately. Good strong adhesive without being too difficult to take off. Just make sure you clean the oils from your nose first otherwise they wont stick to well. Keep your nostrils nice and open without being irrigating or bothersome to wear overnight. The adhesive peels are easy to take off and application is as you'd expect. They come in a single cellophane package inside the box, not super glamours or anything for the price you get a lot of value from 60 strips. The texture is like felt so theyre reasonable soft with a bit of grip still so you can still wear glasses without them slipping down your nose. These extra strength nasal strips do offer some improvement, but the benefit was lighter than I expected. They helped open my nose just enough to make breathing a bit easier, but the difference was small and not the dramatic change some people experience. For mild congestion or light snoring, they can still be useful. My biggest complaint is that they did not stay on very well. Even after following the instructions and cleaning the area first, a few of them started to peel off during the night. Once they lose their grip, they are basically done. The good news is that they are comfortable, drug free, and you get a lot of them in the box, so it is an easy item to try. I went into this with extremely low expectations because let’s be honest it looks like a sticker. A polite little sticker that whispers I believe in you. And somehow that confidence rubbed off on me. This product is simple to the point of being suspicious. You peel it stick it on and that is it. No batteries no learning curve no instruction manual that looks like a legal document. The strips feel sturdy but not aggressive and they stay put through the night without feeling like your nose is being held hostage. What really surprised me is how noticeable the experience was. Don't think these will help with my snoring, that is more a lose weight and/or get a mouthpiece to move my chin forward issue. What these do a terrific job of though is keeping me breathing through my nose at night instead of my mouth and suddenly I don't have dry mouth anymore during the night. The difference has been huge. Definitely need to clean your nose thoroughly before applying. The first one I tried ended up half off my nose because I only wiped and didn't wash my nose. Now they stay on throughout the night with no issue. Not sure why these come in two different styles, but both work equally as well. There are 60 strips here and at the time of testing this was just under ten dollars which is a tremendous value. Probably won't cure your snoring, but you sure will breathe better and for me it eliminated my nighttime dry mouth. A definite recommend. Read more
