So let me start by saying that the wine red color of this skirt is gorgeous and perfect for fall/winter. This skirt is a thick material and actually a lot heavier than I was expecting. Good quality material. Also I love any skirt with pockets and this one will fit your phone in the pocket just fine. There is no sheerness to it at all. I would say this skirt is versatile in that it could be dressed up with a fancy top or worn with a tshirt and still look cute either way. My only reason for knocking off a star is the hip aread does flare out a little more than I would like. If you are like me and already have wide hips you may not want to add to it. This skirt is smaller than expected, and not true to size. It's made well, but the fabric is just awful. A friend of mine saw it right out of the package and said it looked like a wrinkled sheet, and to be honest that's exactly what it feels like too. The fabric feels stiff, doesn't drape well, and it just isn't flattering at all, even after a wash and an iron. Read more

This skirt is not true to size. It runs small. The fabric was very wrinkled upon delivery and is really hard to get the wrinkles out even after washing. The fabric is very fake feeling and looking, especially with the wrinkles. It has a sheen to it that I don’t love. I like the length and the color. I was really hoping this would have been better. This skirt runs a tad on the small side, so size up if you are on the fence. The fabric is thicker than I thought it would be and has quite a bit of gather at the waist and includes pockets. These are great if you are straighter proportioned but probably would not be as flattering if you are curvier, as the gathers at the waist would likely flare out oddly. But it washes and dries well at home, because it is basically polyester. If you have some heat to the drying cycle, then the wrinkles come out well. The skirt is exactly as pictured. I bought it for a friend, so I can't speak to whether it’s true to size yet—we’ll find out at Christmas! However, I can comment on the fabric: it has an oddly “scrubs-like” feel to it. If you like that kind of fabric, you’ll probably enjoy this skirt. I’m a fan of this brand’s skirts and own a couple of them. I usually like the drape of the fabric and find the fit flattering. I’m not as pleased with this skirt as I am with the other ones that I own. The fabric is thicker and doesn’t have the same drape. It’s not sheer at all, has a lining that may even add bulk. Ditto for the pockets- as women we all love our pockets, but these add bulk to the hips and are not as flattering as I’d hoped. The fabric is a dark black, and holds on to wrinkles. While not travel friendly, I think it can be worn to a holiday party with a blingy top and stilettos. The skirt has an elastic waistband that feels comfortable. I just wish it didn’t poof out so much beneath. Read more
